Re: Help Me Populate A Creepy Hotel The Private Eye This man always comes in when there's a thick fog surrounding the area. He is of average height and weight. His appearance isn't very distinctive, although he always wears a fedora and trenchcoat and is often unshaven. He comes in, asks a few questions about certain people or events, and leaves after making a few cryptic remarks. If the PCs watch him leave, they see him walking into a thick fog and eventually disappears in it.

Re: Honorable gangsters? I tried something similar a few years ago with my martial arts/film noir campaign. The heroes weren't gangsters, although they were anti-heroes. It didn't catch on, though. Maybe I'll resurrect it someday.

Re: Under the Agony Star: a sword and planet campaign Another thing I had been considering was giving the overlords some special powers, either psionic or technological in nature. This is because the rulers in the Revolt in Antares game had these powers. they'd probably only use it in battle or in dire need, though.
