  1. Re: A Thread For Random Links It's an honest-to-God zeppelin! And yes, I've seen it a couple of times.
  2. Re: Scourges Of The Galaxy Well done, ghost-angel! Repped for your hard work.
  3. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine "Knock, knock!" "Who's there?" "Jack the Ripper." "It's for you, dear!"
  4. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine She Man, the most powerful transvestite in the universe!
  5. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Bless Me, Father of the Bride of Frankenstein
  6. Re: Solar HERO: follow up an Enceladus Another cause for the war? Since this moon (among others) is contested territory.
  7. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I never got to finish this, but I was working on a Portuguese superhero named Captain Portugal.
  8. Re: My mostly hard sci-fi campaign Thanks, Nyrath! Considering the great amount of recent incidents involving piracy and terrorism, it seems these threats would be dealt with before any expansion would occur. My campaign takes that into account. Terrorists and pirates have been largely subdued (but by no means eliminated) at the cost of exhausting some of the military might of the major powers.
  9. Re: Solar HERO: follow up an Enceladus Cool! My campaign has a colony on Enceladus that is studying this phenomenon close up. If the geyser actually is a water jet, the colony can also be a supplier to the other Saturnian colonies.

  14. Re: Jokes During a routine check-up, the doctor leaves the room for a few minutes to get some medicines for his patient. The patient looks at his chart and sees somethng that makes his blood boil. When the doctor returns, the patient angrily shows the doctor the offending comment and demands an explanation. "First of all," said the doctor, "you had no business looking into my records. Second, those initials stand for Shortness Of Breath."
  15. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Since the holidays are coming, how about an animated Nutcracker ballet with an all Gobots cast?
  16. Re: My mostly hard sci-fi campaign They're a late addition to the campaign. I hadn't considered the idea until I saw a program on the Discovery Channel about future ships. One of the engineers featured advocated underwater colonization rather than space colonization. He said space was an airless void, but there's everything under the oceans necessary to live there. And if overpopulation continues to be a problem, it may be a viable solution. If anyone has ideas about them, please post them here. I haven't really developed this part of the campaign.
  17. Re: Musings on Random Musings I hear you. I saw part of the opening ceremony of the ice skating rink on Friday, and one of the nearby hotels decorated the lobby with lots of Christmas decorations. My thought was "I'm not ready for this bull!"
  18. Re: My mostly hard sci-fi campaign I haven't heard of that movie, but I'll be on the lookout for it. Thanks for the recommendation. I figure it will be easier to put all my ideas on a campaign in the same thread. That way I know where to look if I need to remember something.
  19. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares My bad!
  20. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Cowboy Bebop: The Live Action Movie Starring Bob Newhart as Spike Spiegel and Roseanne Barr as Faye Valentine
  21. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares I don't want to eat food from a pan where the Flash has been in.
  22. Re: Anyone actually playing anything? I'm glad to hear some of my ideas are helpful. Please, borrow away. That's what they're for.
  23. Re: I have a dream. (and MAN was it wierd!) The other night I had this dream about a martial arts dojo. An outsider killed the top student in a brawl and took over the dojo (the teacher disappeared somehow). He mistreated the other students, so most of them escaped and established a secret hideout where they could train and eventually overthrow the bad guy.
