I will say the main thing I care about with replay is the time, if you are going to have it around.  If they cant decide in a minute and half, 2 minutes tops, it's too close to call, and just go with the original call.

Apparently Seattle has decided to avoid the playoffs again, and giving the spot to the Athletics.  Now, I'll have to hear about how Billy Beane is a "genius" ad nauseum come playoff time.

Well, my late cat would try to murder my mother a lot.  He was determined to chop block her ankles every day at supper time.

I can sort of see Han and Leia being split, that relationship definitely ran hot.  But, yeah, not really a good explanation for not being there.

Obi-wan and Yoda to my knowledge were never shown contemplating murdering someone in their sleep.

Oh, and when you get old, you have to tenaciously learn when to pick your spots to use your tenacity, tenaciously.

    This relates to recent experiences.

No matter how much it has rained of late in your area, someone will inevitably say "we could use some rain".  In fact, Noah's brother Jim was also on the Ark,  after 40 days and night of rain, the skies were clear on Day 41.  Jim, came out and said "we could use some rain".  And he was thrown overboard.

True.  THough, I wouldn't say it is "honest" per se.  So, much as to make himself look good and (again) stroke his ego.

Though, the primary thing was to save those kids, I don't give a crap on the how.

Except I don't remember the phrase "Luke is Great Jedi" being mentioned.  He was the greatest living one.  But, when the number is one, kind of hard not to be.

But, according to Disney, it is all about genetics on who Luke cares about sacrificing all to save.  A father shares enough genetics with him to sacrifice himself to save.  But, a nephew just doesn't cut it.

Yoda and Kenobi fail in their efforts to prevent Palpatine from coming to power,  the Jedi are wasted,  the Separatists are wasted, the Rebellion has to start practically from scratch.  Kenobi sticks close to a known offspring of a force-user to be ready when the child is.  Would Yoda and Kenobi serve a purpose joining the Rebellion and getting killed in its infancy?  Who ends up teaching the offspring of Anakin if they do so?

With Luke, the Rebellion has won, right?  He begins building the Jedi as new caretakers for the galaxy.  He fails with one, let's the galaxy go to pot.

Seems to me Yoda and Kenobi might have been playing a long game, not unlike the Rule of Two.  Whereas Luke just gave up.

Yeah, I applaud the effort but,  I think we learned in the prequels evil gets a foothold when good becomes complacent.  So, I'm not sure look never even trying to build an Order would work out.

Best case scenario: Snoke find some force-sensitives, that could have been Luke's students, and trains them without opposition.

It was garbage writing meant to dirty the face of a cherished protagonist so that the shiny new perfect hero could, er, shine.

Yeah, they were a very deeply flawed Star Wars films.  VII seemed like fan fiction.  VIII seemed like fan-fiction written by the guy who won a staring contest with Cthulhu.

I think the prequels were helped by the Clone Wars cartoons (at least for me, it helped me to finally "accept" them.  Although liking I and II is impossible.  I did like III more or less, but accepting was hard due to the baggage of the first 2.)

Accepting the new trilogy will require Ep IX having cameos from Victoria Principal and Patrick Duffy.

Definitely agree.  Though, I ended up in a bit of a fight over mentioning similar a bit back on this very thread.   Most of which got taken down, so I'll avoid any more details.

I broke a 15+ year drought of avoiding theaters for that abomination, too.  I did gain an appreciation for the prequels, at least  (as long as a Fast-Forward button is available for certain parts)

Yeah, SA possibly made some mistakes, though they tend to be more cautious then every single other team in all of sports.  His uncle isn't helping his cause (his uncle has almost singlehandedly succeeded in making LaVar Ball likeable).  And I don't necessarily think he thought this up in advance (he'd need Zaza as an accomplice, right off the bat).  I do think, when he tried to come back, the pain was more from what you expect you would have from repairing atrophy and wear and tear of an athlete's life, etc.  And he may have misinterpreted that.  Or maybe it wasn't completely healed, I'll give him that benefit.

Unfortunately since his last game (January 13th?) legitimate or not, he has handled it in the poorest way imaginable. Yeah, I get that he is quiet.  I'm quiet in real life, much more so at his age, too.   But, at the very least he kept his team, his coach, and his teammates largely in the dark for the next 3 months, and shouldn't get a free pass for that.   At the very least, Kawhi needs to grow up and quit listening to his cancerous uncle.  He is leading him to ruin (if not already lead him to it).

Note: And I wouldn't trust Tony Parker with anything.  COurse, he's Charlotte's problem now.

Yeah, that seemed to be what they were talking about at first mentioning  (or possibly a conflict where both sides had many of their regiments augmented with clone soldiers)
