  1. Re: Super-Skills Megathread I remember a villain from some time ago who was exactly that. All day long he would plan crimes, and then he would sell them to the highest bidder. Never actually pulled a job himself, but a lot of second stringers would use his services. Very cool idea.
  2. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I'm gonna hit 1,000 by the weekend at this rate! Hooray for arbitrary celebrations!!
  3. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Cool! There's a 1984 commercial for Dungeons & Dragons!? I don't remember that at all!
  4. Re: The Last Word It's new NABISCO TITS! Try our regular tits--bbq tits--cheese tits **Now in sour cream and onion!** You can't eat just one! And don't forget to try our new TATER TITS! Mr. Carlin, I do apologize. :bounce:
  5. Re: The Last Word There's always more boobs.
  6. Re: A Thread for Random Musings After viewing some recent avatar changes, I've had a thought: we should designate a day (better yet, a week!) where everyone changes their avatar into a beautiful woman! (Or man, of course, if that be your preference.) Waddya think?
  7. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You people obviously haven't met Dave, Fang and Candy.
  8. Re: A Thread for Random Musings It's like looking in a mirror...
  9. Re: The Last Word Hey, now! Let's not be bringing KISS into this!
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I am a pity whore.
  11. Re: The Last Word Is it over yet?
  12. Re: Who have you updated? Sanctuary (one of my personal faves), C.L.O.W.N., and a few stragglers from older books like Sleeper and Sharpes.
  13. Re: Four Color, Silver Age, etc. Defined somewhere? The beginning of the Iron Age can typically be traced to the one-two punch of The Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns. Ironic, really, when you consider that neither story is in continuity. These were the stories that showed how a "grown-up" version of classic heroes could possibly work. Problem is, writers missed the point (surprise). The stories weren't about body count and ultra violence, but that's what invaded the comics storylines generally for the next decade and a half.
  14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Wow. I had to take a cold shower after reading that!
  15. Re: Ultimate Wonder Twins She's a little bit country, He's a little bit rock and roll. And the monkey is there because hey, a monkey!
  16. Re: Crisis of Infinite Foxbats Ooh, got some more: Clone-saga Foxbat (Which is the real one? Does anyone actually give two sh!!ts??) Attack of the 50 foot Foxbat! Or howabout the return of Foxbat's long lost father, the ORIGINAL Foxbat (as portrayed by Sean Connery)!
  17. Re: Crisis of Infinite Foxbats Vertigo Foxbat.
  18. Re: Trivia... Bulldozer? Am I the only one who thinks "Trivia Bulldozer" would be a great game show?
  19. Re: A Thread for Random Musings What's with the South Koreans and archery? Wow!
  20. Re: Acro is bored If my vote counts for anything (and I'm sure it does ) the black cape looks better. It's a great picture overall. I love the Dr. Midnite inspiration, which I used on my latest character, too. (If only I weren't in traffic when Acro was bored... Curses!)
  21. Re: Marvel Heroes Quotes Clubbering? ... CLUBBERING?? I weep for this generation.
  22. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Heehee, Zorn's drunk
  23. Re: Marvel Heroes Quotes Ha! Not helpful, but it sure is a fun idea But seriously... Hawkeye: "I never learned to miss." Dr. Strange: "By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth!" or some such. He's got a million of 'em. ("By the Eternal Vishanti!" ) and my favorite Captain America: "Only one of us is leaving here alive...and it's not going to be me!" (Genuine quote.)
