The Darkness has been using post-hypnotic suggestion to promulgate the tension between Death Dribble and Bazza.

When a noted cardiologist died, the hospital threw him a lavish funeral. Behind the casket at the funeral was a huge heart covered in roses. When the ceremony was over, the heart opened right down the middle. The casket rolled inside, and the heart closed, sealing the doctor inside.
 
When this happened, one of the mourners broke out in hysterical, uncontrolled laughter. He laughed out loud for several minutes while the other people at the funeral watched uncomfortably. After a while, he regained his composure enough to speak.
 
"I'm sorry," he explained, "but I was just thinking ahead to my own funeral. I'm a gynecologist."
 
That's when the proctologist fainted.

No, I'm saying Magic would be something not explainable or measurable by scientific method, sort of like "art" and the thoughts bouncing around your head as you read this.  Magic is, by its very definition, a-scientific, outside scientific explanation and examination. That's what makes it magical as opposed to just some mutant power.
 
You can think and love and create art without it being uncontrollably random despite being impossible to measure etc.
 
For me, if magic is just science we don't yet get, it stops being magical.

Or, it means that science only explains part of reality, and there is more to reality which science is as useful detailing and explaining as music is to describe food.  Again, Dr Strange:
 

 
In other words, magic presumes reality is larger and more full than science is capable of expressing.  Trying to force everything into science is ignoring the rest of that reality.

I think I'd have put Eternity and Death in a tie for the #3 spot on that cosmic list. And there are a LOT of mystical beings more powerful than Dormammu, he's just prominent because he's Strange's archenemy. Pretty much every major demon lord and pagan death god/adversary figure works on about the same level, and Set, Chthon, Gaea, the Vishanti, and Shuma-Gorath have been established as being far more powerful.
