  1. Re: Leech's Reversion What Void said. Might also look into getting Frank his job back after the situation is resolved.
  2. Re: Random WTF momment... Tell the painter he missed a spot, just to see what kind of reaction I'd get out of him.
  3. Re: What happens in Vegas... Couldn't resist... So, you would take the hentai approach to this?
  4. Re: What happens in Vegas... I think it was a random encounter. In which case, I (and by extention, most of my characters) would wait to discuss the matter with "Big Z" in the morning. I would point out that misuderstandings like this could be avoided if he would take the time to let us know he was going to be incommunicado for a while, as that is really the part of this that is most vexing. Other than that, what he does on his own time is nobody's business but his.
  5. Re: The Devil Inside... Could be "The Order" got duped by the imps somehow. The way they chose to handle things, they've certainly proven there stupid and insane enough.
  6. Re: How to make an ice planet plausible Good replies all around, look forward to more.
  7. Re: The Devil Inside... Here's my (and most of my characters') perspective on this: First, someone needs to find the spell that was originally used to create the spirit seals and use it to close the four that are already open. Second, the imps Blight and Strife need to be destroyed. Period. End. Of. Story. Third, the surviving members of The Divine Order need to be rounded up and have an entire law library thrown at them for causing this mess. You just got to ask yourself: just how in the hell did they not realize their actions would very likely have this very result? Idiots. As for Don, a stern warning never to try to open the seals again. Ever. If he abides by the warning, no further intervention into his affairs is neccessary.
  8. We've seen them many times in SF, planet Hoth from Empire Strikes Back being the one that comes to mind for most people. The Ice Planet: A planet that is more or less an oversized ball of ice and snow and yet, despite the apparent lack of a viable ecosystem, has a breathable atmosphere. The question is: how to make such a planet plausible in a campaign setting where at least some concessions to realism must be made?
  9. Re: Modeling, er, "sexual prowess" Interresting choice of analogy, it brings to mind what an old friend of mine once observed: "Politics and sex both invariably involve somebody getting f***ed." I'd say more but I should probably save it for the NGD.
  10. Re: WWYCD Fantasy HERO Edition #1: The Princess Shell Game Hit on them. The one that rejects your advances is the real princess.
  11. Re: IHR/Genocide Robot, Minuteman Prime Since it takes on the psychological characteristics of whoever's in its capture pods, toss it a bunch of self-loathing angst queens and watch it self-destruct.
  12. Re: WWYCD: Dumb, Da-Dumb, Dumb, Dumb... Same as when I hear about stupid criminals in real life, laugh my ass off.
  13. A non-superpowered female NPC from your campaign world (choose someone appropriate) ended up in the clutches of an interstellar warlord who has invaded Earth a couple of times recently. You and the rest of your party spent weeks travelling in space and battling your way through his henchmen to finally reach His Imperiousness's palace on his distant home planet. As you burst in and demand that he release her, she (much to your dismay) tells you straight out that she don't need nor want to be rescued! That's right, it appears life as the warlord's concubine agrees with her and she is absolutely refusing to go back to Earth with you. All the while, His Imperiousness is smiling mockingly at you. WWYCD?
  14. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Is the service really that slow around here? A: Ouch! My Dragonballs!
  15. Re: Perk: Gold Cross Policy? Sounds good, Thanks.
  16. For those familiar with Car Wars, you already know what I'm talking about. So, what would be a reasonable cost?
  17. Re: The Things That I've Learned Facing Bricks 1) Not all bricks are big, dumb, and slow, but the dumb ones are no less dangerous than the smart ones (in some cases even more so). 2) Spending months in a full body cast sucks.
  18. What would be a reasonable value for the following: Set Effect (any one limb; -?) Thanks.
  19. Re: The Future of Small Arms While it's doubtful anyone will actually make such a thing, I would love to have one of those ZF-1s from The Fifth Element.
  20. Re: Alternate Earth/WWYCD: Rollerball World I'd rather go to a dimension based on the remake, then I could get me some endorsement deals.
  21. Re: WWYCD: Daughter Of The Shadow Lord... Dito on grabbing the other girl and run for my characters.
  22. Re: WWYYCD: The Rally Any of my characters who have access to law enforcement databases will check and see if they recognize any faces with outstanding arrest warrents and act accordingly. Those that don't will hang around to intervene if things suddenly get ugly (well, uglier).
  23. Re: WWYCD: Unholy Matrimony... Although Terror'Khan may be in for a rude awakening later when Amanda turns the Designing For The Sexes guy loose on the Palace Of Eternal Shadow... (ducks)
