  1. Re: A Game Of Questions Are you trying for some sort of world-record non sequitur?
  2. Re: Create-A-Character In an alternate timeline, the concert at which Corazon Valenzuela found her powers was "attacked," not by supervillains intent on kidnapping her, but by C.L.O.W.N. They had intended to make a pointed statement about the (ab)use of a mere teenager, and how others were making a fortune off displaying her. Under the shock of really seeing, for the first time, how she was being exploited, Corazon's powers manifested. So did her suppressed anger. With her powers usable, and a wish to show up the world, Corazon joined C.L.O.W.N. Code name? Sapphire Jester. NEXT: Animal Melt PS. Sorry about the last post. I must have been writing while Badger was posting.
  3. Re: Answers & Questions Q: At number 10 in our countdown of ludicrous recruiting slogans,.... A: Number nine, number nine, number nine.
  4. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat "It's lonely at the top!" Then burst into tears and whine about how no-one's really your friend when you're rich and/or powerful, they just want something from you, and no-one cares about the real you, and blah blah blah blah blah.
  5. Re: Twisted Cross, Silver Bullets   * Hellbats! Giant bats are attacking the RAF; if they aren't stopped, the defensce of London will collapse, and the Luftwaffe's bombers will destroy the city.
  6. Re: Create-A-Character Out of the shadows, Out of the dark, Evil may come, But can't face God's spark! There are many universes. In some, evil beings can teleport from shadow to shadow, escaping those who would face them. Sometimes, these beings, these demons are made of the very shadows that protect and empower them. In one such world, however, there is one who can follow the demons of the shadows, chasing them down and using deitific light to destroying them. This knight-errant of the forces of Light is known by the nick-name "Shade Killer". He is relentless in pursuit of the demons of shadow (or "shades" as they are also called), and when he forces them into a corner they can't escape from, he kills them mercilessly. Thus he protects common folks, and shows the power of the Church of Light. And no-one knows that within that all-covering armor, behind that never-opened helm, lies a Shade. For "Shade Killer" is not out to protect anyone, not out to promote any church. All it wants is to kill as many other Shades as it can, so as to make itself king of all Shades. It knows that by posing as a pro-light knight, it will receive abundant help in its actions. Naturally, its weapon is not deitific light, but infernal. As well, it greatly enjoys the irony that, though its nickname comes from the fact it kills Shades, it is equally applicable due to it being a Shade that kills. NEXT: Feather Stab
  7. Re: How to open a door? freakboy6117: I really liked your scenario. The only potential problem I see with it is convincing the players that Cheshire Cat (or whoever) is dumb enough to believe that people engaged in high finance use large bales of physical cash, and that he's known to be so stupid, and that bank managers will accept that he's going to act on that assumption. Other than that, I see no major holes. Congrats on a brilliant plan! I hope you don't mind that Dr. Infamous has taken copious notes. Dr. Infamous is another product of Basil Twisted Imagination, Unincorporated. All wrongs reserved
  8. Re: A Game Of Questions What "he" are you referring to?
  9. Re: Answers & Questions Q: What are "prairie oysters"? A: You should not have defined that word.

    Tee Hee.

Re: Tee Hee. Errrr..... Why "Tee Hee" in the title? I don't see any connection to C.L.O.W.N's A.I. car. Joking aside, I don't see why you titled the thread as you did.
  11. Re: Create-A-Character Silk Gale (Secret ID Name: Dorothy Royle) is a very powerful weather/wind/air manipulator. Powers include a Change Environment that covers all sorts of weather, various AoE attacks (some with Indirect), etc. Her most often used power is an AoE TK---a localized windstorm that can move quite a large amount around. This power, and some of her others, is accompanied by a swirl of mist that, observers report, feels like silk scarves lightly touching one. Hence the name. It is not clear if the Astrocite medallion she wears has any relation to her powers. NEXT: Electrobrain Dr. Infamous insists the medallion is made of Crystalized Fluranium
  12. Re: A Game Of Questions Would that get confused with "Type O"?
  13. Re: The Littlest Fireman Ah, I see. Personally, I would have made three separate powers, but that's a matter of preference, not of "da rools". Also, "detect life" isn't something I'd have thought of WRT ghosts, off the top of my head. But, it makes sense, so why not? I see. A simple erroneous switch; I've done that myself. I'm glad to have helped.

  16. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat If you were told, you'd have to be killed. NT: Other things that, if you were told them, you would have to be killed.
  17. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Shadow crossed with The Honeymooners: The Shadowmooner. Lead character: Lamont Cramden. Quote: "Zip, boom, straight to the moon, criminal!" The Shadowmooner is a non-register untrademark of Basil's Twisted Imagination, Unincorporated. All lefts reversed.
  18. Re: A Game Of Questions Have you ever been mistaken?
  19. Re: A Game Of Questions Isn't it what the words mean?
  20. Re: Archeological gold I found this article much more informative. IOW, as science, Hagarism stinks . And, frankly, as Pulp, it doesn't do it for me. To much of a whiff of bigotry to me.
  21. Re: The Littlest Fireman
  22. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat Sorry, Vlad Tepes already did. He starts doing the report in the nude. Unfortunately, he's ~35 pounds overweight. NT: What are you going to do when all the snow finally melts.
  23. Re: A Game Of Questions Isn't that the same as "physically"?
  24. Re: Water Tunnel Ah, excellent. I would have used the oft repeated rule of thumb that every 10m of depth increases pressure by one atmosphere. Using you formula I find that it should be 10 1/3 meters. 50 STR, huh? One would have to be a powerful telekinetic to tunnel though water.
