Re: A Thread for Random Musings I spent most of New Year's Day at my dining room table, organizing and cataloguing my "Magic: The Gathering" card collections (due to a temporary shortage of funds, I'm selling off some of my cards, but have no idea what I actually have)... With a roughly 42-page, 2-columned, 11-point font list, I have quite a few cards, it seems! And I'm still not done! Hope I can get something halfway decent for it... Michelle aka Samuraiko

Re: The cranky thread Only one problem... can't afford to see a chiropractor right now (and I know for a fact that my insurance doesn't cover it). I love the scene after Salieri's opera when Mozart comes down to say hello. Salieri: "So, did my work please you?" Mozart: *pause* "I never knew... sounds like that were possible." Re: Musings on Random Musings Hence the reason that when I hit writer's block on AtGoT, I started designing the trailer and the credits of the movie to be based on the book (I think big, don't I?)... When I started talking to John about what I wanted animated for the trailer, it helped me re-write a scene or two... Just a thought. Michelle aka Samuraiko

I don't know what I did to my shoulder (well, I sort of know, I let a suitcase with four smaller overnight cases inside it fall onto my shoulder while lifting it onto a shelf, but that was only a graze), but now my neck hurts, I don't have full range of motion on my arm, and it's damned hard to draw in a full breath. John says I pinched a nerve, and this hurts like hell. Short of seeing a chiropractor, any suggestions? Michelle aka Samuraiko

Re: The cranky thread Quite a few people actually did applaud after it was over. We did draw some attention for the rest of the flight, especially since we were signing amongst ourselves pretty much the entire five-hour flight (we didn't bother watching the movie since it had no captioning). We also noticed rather gleefully that a different pair of attendants came around with the food while the other two hid out in the back (we were right up front, just behind first class).
