Re: Putting on Power Armor I was in the SCA in College and one night at an event held in an old house, one of my girfriends fell asleep in her armor- with the helmet on ! From then on the AD&D rule for nighttime ambushes was "No one sleeps in their armor except Katy !"

I was working in a Store and he called the store and said he'd just been in there and asked if I was married because he'd like a date. I said I was very flattered, but yes, I was married. Fortunately, he was a Gentleman and took no for an answer.

Re: Musings on Random Musings Hey Zorn: The only season 6 or 7 show I remember is when the Geek character (Andy ?) was making the home movie. I liked that one, but I don't remember much of the others. Just Giles' battle with Evil Willow and Xander ending Evil Willow. Like I said Zorn, you need some HELP !

Re: The cranky thread I HATE PARMESAN CHEESE !!!!! It's not the eating of it that I object to, it's GETTING THE STUFF OFF THE FORK AFTERWARDS !!! I couldn't scrub it off, so I threw it in the dishwasher. NOW IT'S DRIED ON AND HAS TO SOAK OVERNIGHT !!! To top it all off I DON'T EVEN EAT THE STUFF !!! ONLY ODDHAT DOES !!! Re: What would you trade for wealth? Personally, I'd be more interested in higher stats than money. I already have the lowest END in my Karate class and my EGO and PRE aren't the greatest, either. If I could only buy off one thing I'd buy off my several points of overweight. My COM is OK otherwise. I got asked for a date by a Stranger at age 39 and size 18/20.

If you want to swap "Back in the Day when I was a young Hottie.." stories, feel free to PM me anytime. At 43, I'm getting used to not being young anymore. Thank God I no longer need to dress sexy when it's below freezing out. I can wear my sweats, big down jacket and comfortable, non-slip shoes. That's one perk. I'm sure if you look, you can find some too. Happy Birthday. Here's to at least 40 more !

Re: The cranky thread I've gained twelve pounds and the jeans I'm wearing are too tight, so I'm cranky ! I want to lose at least 20 by 5/1, when my Mom returns from Arizona and so far, nothing. My Mom smokes like a fiend and has for at least 55 years, yet she's always giving ME health tips and wants me to get tested for Diabetes, so I'm cranky. Well, at least she doesn't nag me about my lack of a job anymore. She's too busy worrying about my health. My blood pressure, as taken last Wed. is a cool 110/78. My resting pulse is a not-too-bad 78. She's been on blood pressure medication for years. Yet she nags me about MY health ? AAAAUUUUUGGGHHHHHHHH !!!! So yes, I'm cranky.

Re: WWYCD: They Walk Through Walls? This looks like a job for WICCA ! She would be able to determine whether said Villains were really Supernatural Creatures or Mages. If Creatures, she would try to dispell them, with her Master's help, if needed, ASAP. They are casual killers. If some Mage sent them, he or she would find themselves with two new enemies. If they are Mages, it would be a knock-down, drag-out fight. If Wicca won, she would try to imprison them in a super-dimensional prison where they would never be able to harm anyone again. She has never killed anyone, and as she can travel to a dimension where a murdered person is still alive, and the killers counterparts would exist there too, simply killing them in one time and place might not solve the problem.

Re: Musings on Random Musings My Parents saved the top of our wedding cake in the freezer compartment of their still working 1954 refrigerator in the basement heater room. This was 1994. By 1995, it smelled funny, so we smiled, said thank you, and took it to the TGI Friday's which was my favorite all-time watering hole and ceremonially tossed it in their dumpster. Then we went in and had a meal. That refrigerator did not give up the ghost until about two years ago. True story. No planned obselecense here !
