  1. This is the Vortex fighter. It was developed around the same time as the Tempest, but had a smaller production run because the Navy favored the design of the Tempest. It has three pylons, each capable of mounting 1 anti-matter missile each. The side pylons also house fore and aft MAME-5 launchers and the top pylon mounts a single for launcher. It does not have any laser weaponry which makes it more of a long-range interceptor that tends to bug out once the "dogfighters" get within close range. Enjoy!
  2. I heard his wife is buried there too...
  3. Shameless plug... I did the conversions to the Hero System for this book, and I just want to say that this book is waaaaaaaaaaaaay cool. The characters are awesome, ranging from serious hardcore baddies to funny, outrageous heroes and villains. I can't wait to see it in print!
  4. Ironically, he sent me an email before Steve sent me the update, asking me tosend him the new FAQ... so I did... ... and now.. he's gone...
  5. Both prestine and "damaged" copies... enjoy! Alien Wars will be available mid-January.
  6. It hasn't imploded... it's simply in suspended animation.
  7. See? He's simply a victim of circumstance.
  8. I can't believe you just insulted Donald Duck on MY boards! He's not explosively tempered... he's simply reacting to the stimuli of the messed up world he lives in. Completely misunderstood, even by Daisy.
  9. Man, you don't know duck! *ducks
  10. Tekno would look around, see all the bizarre things happening around him, figure that it was all part of his "holiday trip" and step back into the club where the music would drown out the sound of the "naughties" being slaughtered outside. Only hours later would he realize that it was real. "Dude," he'd say, shielding his dialated eyes from the harshness of the sun. He'd then go home and sleep for 12 hours.
  11. 13. Tekno wants a bigger battery pack for his suit. And some better armor. He's tired of getting knocked out, or worse, disemboweled.
  14. I once had a villain named Solar Flare. He rode around on self-created arcs of solar prominences and could fire radiation from his eyes. He was originally a non-corporeal being that was accidentally hurled into solidification and when he appeared he was inside the sun. So his body took on that form.
  15. While I haven't used wormholes in a game, in the scifi that I've written with my online group we had a whole planetary system that was surrounded by a wormhole field... a bubble around the entire system that was made up of unstable time/space. At any moment a wormhole could open within the field and any vessel unfortunate enough to be caught in it would be unceremoniously warped to a different area within the wormhole field. These wormholes were not only unpredicatble but also very unstable... after travelling through just one of them most vessels would lose sensors and propulsion... and since the wormholes take them somewhere else within the field, the vessel was still vulnerable to yet another randomly appearing wormhole and the process would start all over again. After three or four forced jumps through wormholes, most ships would be destroyed. Suffice it to say that after losing a considerable number of vessels, the Kriosian Wormhole Field was marked as off-limits, and a research station was setup on its borders in order to study it and understand it. The most instersting part of the whole story is that one of the planets in the system inside the wormhole field has intelligent and highly advanced life... but that's a whole different story for a different thread. So yeah, wormholes can be fun.
  16. Blue Bomber Blues I would do a writeup of Mega Man but when you consider that there have been (as I recall) eight Mega Man titles, seven Mega Man X titles, two Mega Man Legends titles, two Mega Man Zero titles, Mega Man and Bass as well his appearance in countless other Capcom titles, it would be quite an undertaking. His powers are different in every game. His Multipowers would be kinda cool though.
  17. Uh, yeah... right... cuz... I'm running a FH campaign... and uh... the players need to defend the villages and cottages frumn Trogdor... yeah... yeah that's the ticket.
  18. The main reasons why not everything is illustrated is the costs. We would have to pay for more artwork, and more artwork means a bigger book which translates to a higher production cost. That in turn makes the book more expensive for you guys.
  19. Yeah I also forgot: Physical Limitation: One Beefy Arm
  20. Well, if Strongbad had drawn them better, like Strong Sad did, then I would have added 2 or 3 levels of Hardened.
  21. No, it's MAGE-sty... like magic... like a magician... like... like... like I messed up, okay!?
  22. This is what happens when my wife gets me a Trogdor t-shirt and the Strongbad Sings CD for Christmas... This writeup is far from perfect... I was just bored...
