  1. Re: A costume challenge Oh, that's prefect. Like Raven from the cartoon Teen Titans. Very simple and almost primal... but also functional and sporty.
  2. Re: Time Powers Sounds like XDM to me
  3. Re: A costume challenge She could go with a boiler suit with a patch insignia and a domino mask... very golden age as well as modest.
  4. Re: A costume challenge Oh snap! time for some photo evidence!
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Hey! Yeah! You could help us out by snapping the photo.
  6. Re: Musings on Random Musings At my office, no word of a lie, we all get action figures. I'm Thor.
  7. Re: Musings on Random Musings I'm confused, don't you like gentle rubbing??
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Buttercup would be better R-rated. I think you mean X-Rated... yikes!
  9. Re: A costume challenge Hmm.. a beautiful 16 year old girl with the personality of a nerd and no self-esteem. Been my experience they wear slutty outfits to get attention.
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Explicit photos, please. Don't spare the Power Girls.
  11. Re: Design me a power please! Good solution! So to summon 1 bubble would be 60 AP? Thanks, I will rep you when I am again able to!
  12. OK geniuses. I'm looking to build an energy-construct type who can conjure up bubbles of force which can serve as vehicles (flight, life support), entangles (or grabs) or attacker/defenders. Semi-intelligent to intelligent, under the charcter's mental command, and slightly variable in size and appearance from one to another (although an individual bubbe is static in abilities and appearance. This power should be no more than 120 active points, any number of real points, and can be built as a multipower with no modifiers on the reserve, but not another kind of framework. Ready, set, Go!!

    Cannonball

Re: Cannonball Vec! I had noidea you played...
  14. Re: Blocking and deflecting I prefer Force Wall, 0 range, RSR: Dex or Use Shield as you determine for deflecting attacks with a shield/bracers/whatever.
  15. Re: (newbie) The Downside of Density Increase he "Hardness" solution is probably the best one. In order to show she is heavier, you could take a small physical limitation (such as Always 400 lbs) to show she has trouble with small cars, sitting in chairs, and so on without leaving footprints in concrete.
  16. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. Yeah, I'm hoping to make it into a sig with that one.
  17. Re: VPP Help You should make it at least three times that big. No way you're going to kill any dragons with those tiny wimpy cantrips! My guess is a -1/4 lim is sufficient, and a 10 AP pool is about right. The rest of it, to an accomplished magician, should be no problemo.
  18. Re: Loving Your DNPCs The old DC Mayfair game had an advantage (like a Perk) called Buddy, which was a special kind of DNPC that could help a hero out of a jam, knew his secret identity, had long walks on the beach, would share his Bud Lite, yadda yadda. I think a DNPC/Loves (or deeply respects)/Follower is a perfect encapsulation of the very well-constructed Buddy advantage.
  19. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. I feel like I'm peeing into the ocean heaping praise upon you Storn... but consider my bladder emptied in tribute to you.
  20. Re: What is this power? And to me, this sounds like minor (not major) transform. The focus can usually be replaced fairly easily, so you're just saving some time or inconvenience in media.
  21. Re: Loving Your DNPCs Exhibit 1 for the defense: Alfred Pennyworth.
  22. Re: TK Application That's exactly right- chopping off the tendrils shouldn't hurt the character. That's why I thought of TK, possibly AOE, Physical Manifestation.
  23. Re: TK Application In order to keep the Active points relatively low, I'm trying to build it as simply as possible. No more than 12" I think.
  24. I am devising a character who can grow tendrils from his body quicky, to act as extra limbs, with a very long range. I think this should be built as a form of TK, but since he can make as many tendrils as he needs, do I need to add an AOE advantage to best simulate it?
  25. Re: Musings on Random Musings Truth be told, I've got no love for either political party. IMO one's stupid and the other one's slimy. I won't tell you which I think is which. But when people bash others, and other viewpoints, in an ad hominem or truly mean-spirited way, I get tired of it. Rah-rah cheerleading, a la Begala, Carville, Limbaugh or Hannity gets me steamed, too.
