  5. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Sarah Plain and Tall Chronicles -or- High Plains Terminator
  6. Re: Heroes from All Fifty States That Big Husker from Nebraska is up for review.... http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dzqpmkt_639dthbjthb
  7. Re: Heroes from All Fifty States The deal with Rushmore was that he was "as adjective as 4 men". Plus I wanted him to be reasonably immune to mental things, since he has the will power of 4 of the legendary statesmen... Speed is pretty much the only offensive power he's got, so Rushmore is the classic golden age speedster, plus its a pun on Rush. And Eco Ranger is great! thorough background, logical powers, makes some of the ones I've written up look very tired. ECO RANGER here: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dzqpmkt_634frt5jqjh -----
  8. Rushmore "god" is the wording of the FH limitation. should be the Land of course. Other changes, plus the usual crud where skills don't come through from the HD export.
  9. Re: Heroes from All Fifty States Well after Christmas, work exploding, 2 conventions and some family stuff, WE ARE BACK!!! SOUTH DAKOTA is up for Peer Review He's a points monster. He needs to be on an ultra slot system to tone down the costs. Plus: It's kind of a rush job, so let me know what needs fixin. ---

  13. Re: 50 statessuper- villians I approve highly, but I'm not joining in till other projects get further along.
  14. Re: Heroes from All Fifty States people gave a lot of great ideas, thankfully avoiding stereotypes and cheap laughs or cliches. there was a Dark Champions equivalent page: but it appears to be soggy. Anyways, on the villain idea... A) would they organize? like the Injustice Gang? there is a small agency behind the USA5O, there is a govt. sponsor. Let's finish the heroes first! (drop of sweat) C) But it is an interesting idea. Start a separate Thread, see who bites....
  15. Re: Heroes from All Fifty States All fifty states have a picture and at least a one-liner concept. Many states have full blown character sheets done. These characters are not done: So.Dak, Mich, Wisc, Iowa, Kans in the Mid-west. Neva, Oreg, Idaho, Wash.State, and Okla. in the West. Lous, Miss, So.Car, and Georgia in the South. oho and Pennsylvania in the North. Indiana and Nebraska are not fully finished either. This is the Index page HERE If the name has no link, there is no character sheet. PLUS: if there's any hero done by Egyptoid, feel free to submit a better idea. My fingerprints are all over this crime scene. thanks for showing interest.

  18. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I ran the USA-5O at a convention last week, and since a lot of the material was hatched here, I post you a link to the write-up Again, thanks to all who contributed to the project (aint over yet)

  20. - - - >>> Which is your least favorite archetype to play? the Enforcer, especially the later models from the mid-80s.
  21. Re: Heroes from All Fifty States Coming soon , the after action report on USA 5O but for now: Wichita Man! Fallen Leaf is from the Halloween Theme Villain group.
  22. Re: The Monster As Hero thread Admittedly, the Timm- style takes away from the horror factor, but these are examples of what you're seeking... ========================== Orca Mortale, Hero of Seattle (Proditor) ============== Bagnell Catfish, Hero of Missouri (Haven W)
  23. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Daimajin was the 5H1+ man ! the original was a huge old golem that laid waste to the evil men, and defended the faithful of a village. Did I mention he was like 5 stories tall? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvsAdvwQ63I any champion based on that concept gets an A+ in my campaign...
  24. Faq If I'm playing Champions on-line, and I make my character, Captain Dudex and play him for a while, will there be an export function? Such that I can hit F7 and I get back a file with the STR, DEX, EGO, REC, PRE, etc of Captain Dudex ?
