  1. Odd...they wanted the Beatles to do The Lord of the Rings.. The Monkies in Star Wars. Star Monkey Head.
  2. 8- skill. Can't add skill levels. Cost 1 point. 11- skill. Still can't add skill levels. Cost 2 points. And that is it.
  3. Hopefully not THAT Neverland from the anime. What shock for the kids to learn they are being fattened up for a monster's feast. (I'm talking about the Promised Netherland here. Not that the other one wasn't spooky.)
  4. Expert is also in the Advance Player's Guide. It allows a discount on Knowledge Skills if the skills are related (representing a guy who knows a lot of suplimemtal skills related to a hobby of some kind). For example, my real life magical girl character Lady Heart has Expert (Otaku And Japanese Pop Culture). That gives him a discount for KS: Anime and Manga, KS: Idol Singers of Japan, KS: Japanese Pop Culture, KS: Japanese Pop Fashion. He doesn't get a discount for CK: Tokyo, nor a discount for knowing the Japanese language.
  5. There comes a time for everyone to give their ideas, and then there comes a time for everyone to zip there lips so the writer can write uninterrupted. Only the official writer can know when that time comes
  6. It probably should be noted that she probably doesn't officially forbid worship of the gods in her universes. She knows the worse thing she can do is tell people that they can't worship what they wish, for forbidding something is the best way to say everyone give their power to someone or something to defeat her. She has probably encouraged her media/fiction beings to start interpreting the gods of the universe she conquered as villains of some kind. The best way to discourage worship of gods is to either make them seem like evil or make them seemike fools. Discourage the belief of gods is a way to weaken them.
  7. We are still in the too many chiefs stage of communal writing.
  8. I believe it is in the Advance Player's Guide 1. Which means Foxkinns might not actually have that book.
  9. Ok. Considering his night job is a Police Dispatcher. He could buy Expert at 3cpoints, netting him a one point savings on any Knowledge Skills and Professional Skills (please correct me if I'm wrong) related to what he is an expert on. Skills related to Police Dispatcher... KS: Police Dispatcher Code (so you know the difference between a code 8-7 and a code 7-11). KS: Police Procedural (you know how things are usually done in law enforcement). KS: The Criminal Underworld (you roughly know who is who). KS: The Law Enforcement World (police gossip about who can be trusted and who is corrupt). PS: Police Dispatcher (know how to operate the dispatcher equipment, and simple fixes when needed). Anything else? Optional skills which could be folded into Expert, maybe. KS: Superheroes and Supervillains. KS: Paramilitary Criminal and Law Enforcement Agencies (how to tell the difference from a VIPER goon and a DEMON goon and a SAT goon...)
  10. Depends on his profession, assuming he is not a professional student. He should have a hobby or two (an excuse for him to have either/and a KS and a PS of the same thing). Since he doesn't sleep, he probably has a "day" job for 8 hours, and a "night" job for 8 hours. An excuse for two more PS right there. Since he doesn't sleep, that gives him lots of time to explore the city, and an excuse for a CK (City Knowledge) of "campaign city". Since he is exploring the city at night, he should have Streetwise, along with KS: Gangs Of The City. That is 8 right there.
  11. Well, it seems the standard thing is the Decedents decided that someone or something is socially evil and must be taken down a peg in the only way they know how. They slip into the standard "rich is evil, authority is evil" mindset. Many actually want to do the right thing, but what they believe is the right thing is not actually correct. Feel free to have them go after the PCs for their perceived wealth or authority power. Nothing gets the players attention as being the target.
  12. Either he advanced a year or Melody is a year behind. Either works. If Queen Nightmara ever is there in the flesh, the world is in really bad shape and there will be no interview with her, as most people would be either killing themselves or others because of her nature. As for wanting Melvin to be there Dark Prince...or Melody to be there Dark Princess, anything can happen. It just won't involve Queen Nightmara directly, as she can't feal love, or even lust. The best she can manage is obsessed hate. True. But that is what roleplaying is for.
  13. Yes. For both. Right now it is the Spooky Kabuki's show. But yes, Melody is posed to take over when Melvin graduates. But being twins, Melody is only a year behind her twin, so they have to do something to keep Melody around. But Melody and Melvin are a package deal. She won't accept stardom without her brother. Besides, this was Melvin's idea in the first place.
  14. The Spooky Kabuki is Melvin Smith, a fan of bad horror movies and bad martial arts movies, he developed the identity of Spooky Kabuki to host public domain horror and martial arts movies. His twin sister Melody Smith sometimes joins him as The Ghastly Geisha (and when Melvin is sick, actually host). They both also write and produce various shows from PPDTV. The Spooky Kabuki's costume is basically Kabuki makeup, lion wig, and makeshift komodo. The Ghastly Geisha's outfit is a lacored white Geisha wig, outrageous Geisha style makeup, and female komodo. (I'm probably mispelling komodo)
  15. That's the general idea about him. His name also sounds like a Scooby Doo villain. But don't hold it against him (or, if you wish, her...but I rather picture Spooky Kabuki is a male),
  16. I ment Shock! to be a national station like Comet (which specializes in Science Fiction, with a smidgen of Fantasy and Horror and related comedy) and Charge! (which specializes in action, usually television shows) and Grit (westerns). It shouldn't actually originate in Pittsburgh, but can be broadcast in the city and surrounding area. Pittsburgh Public Domain Television and Pittsburgh Public Domain Cartoon Television, on the other hand, does originate from Pittsburgh. It probably is a student run station, and uses public domain programs and movies as a way to keep operating cost down. There are also a few public assess shows also (akin to Wayne's World, local concert shows showcasing local struggling musicians, and a Kung Fu Theater and Horror Theater host [in fact the host by the name of The Spooky Kabuki does both shows]).
  17. Considering she thrives in spooky, depressing areas, it might just be the one area in Pittsburgh where she can partly manifest enough to send an image of herself through. Also to send things through to our dimension and to manipulate objects via transdimentinal Telekinesis.
  18. I kinda forgot Fred Rodgers was a Pittsburghan (person from Pittsburgh. Did I spell it correctly?) The guy was amazing.
  19. Another "extra" television channel is Shock! Shock! primarily focuses on horror and suspense movies and shows, but also dips their toes into fantasy and science fiction (especially if they also touch horror). Much like Comet TV, Shock! has a bit of repeats of movies throughout the month, but they try to keep things fresh. They even have their own horror host by the name of The Editor, who is obsessed with the floor of The Cutting Room.
  20. In Pittsburgh there are probably a few extra "new" channels not available in the real world. Like a version of my ideal of Super (a superhero focused television channel). There is also PPDTV and PPDCTV (Pittsburgh Public Domain Television and Pittsburgh Public Domain Cartoon Television). Run by a group of media students, both channels focus on public domain television shows and movies (and cartoon shorts), and are funded primarily on donations.
  21. Here is the layout in Milwaukee Television. And a few are weak broadcasted. I can assume that Pittsburgh is similar.
  22. What are the television channels in Pittsburgh? At least there is an outlet for ABC, CBS, Fox, PBS, and NBC, along with many independent and religious channels. Probably also digital antenna television networks like Comet, Charge, METV, Court, Grit, among other channels.
  23. Just ignore the "arms are pinned" component of a bear hug. The character can strike back, but suffers a small penalty to do so (I would say -2 OCV). If he inflicts STUN damage, the grabber must let go, but can always re-grab.
