  1. I remember my old GM springing the team which was once known as the Reindeer Raiders. 13 original villains originally named after Santa's Reindeers. You can probably pick and choose writeups and mold them into the new Reindeer Raiders. I won't name them here. Just go through the part of the Night Before Christmas which names the Reindeer and add Rudolph at the end. As for Halloween, use any spooky scary villain you wish. Champions have a lot of them (Samhine, Dead Man Walking, etc.).
  2. Nice thinking. Of course, the price of legal energy pistols would be outrageous. They might be low cost alternatives, but they have their own problems (like exploding).
  3. Well, that is why I went, in my mind, the Kelvarite route. In fact, he was either there or a few moments later during Tachyan and Thunderbolt's orgims (Champions Villains Volume 3 pages 261-263 and 299-301). It would explain Powerhouse's ability to fly and brick level strength (both standard operating procedure of someone who has a shard of Kelvarite in them...a movement power and high strength).
  4. We ARE talking about Variable Power Pools, NOT Multipowers. Yes, I know that Variable Power Pools are described as "Multipowers On Steroids", BUT they ARE two different things.
  5. I assume that this would be even worse in a Champions Universe Pittsburgh, especially when energy pistols are available along with the standard slugthrowers.
  6. As everyone keeps saying, exactly what is allowed in a VVP, is decided by both the player and game master working together to declare if these powers with these advantages and these limitations are allowed. It's a tough road. It'll take time.
  7. Reminds me of the CBG articals titled "The Law Is An Ass", the title based on a Shakespeare quote, and has a real life lawyer looking at various law cases in comic books.
  8. Ah. I see. Everyone gets a personality reverse. It is not just Villains become Heroes and Vica Versa.
  9. They don't mention the Milvereen, but his only power is being a Milwaukee man with an uncanny resemblance to a certain Australian portraying a certain Marvel Comics Canadian of a mutant persuasion. And no, it's not Northstar.
  10. Mental Teleportation doesn't need LOD range. You don't need to roll to hit your hex after all. You just move there and hope you don't reform inside objects and walls.
  11. Well, yes. That is an advantage of a special effect based game. Any attack can be changed into a mental attack with the right advantages. And similar to movement, defense, and other powers. So should a VVP actually take a disadvantage to limit a VVP by special effects? Well, that depends on the work between the player and the game master.
  12. Well, yes. Technically ALL villains are heroes in Left-Handed Earth. Like ANGLE and VIPER (well, yes, same name but different acronym).
  13. Leather and Lace are a lesbian couple. Leather has tough thick skin and has moderate super strength. Lace can shoot webbing out of her wrists and has a mildly poisonous saliva. Both are mutants. Both don't care for their birth names and call each other by their villain names (or Lee and Lae as pet names).
  14. That can be said of most villains. With maybe an exception for Dr. Destroyer and Takophanes (you know, the Litch).
  15. What Starblaze said. He is the guy with the hairy chest, wrestling outfit (NOT Professional Wrestling), and clean shaven, if I remember correctly.
  16. @Ninja-BearI never said anything about Powerhouse being "realistic", only that "Always On Growth" is now covered by stats and Complication combo.
  17. Basically Powerhouse was a flying brick with a grecian roman wrestling martial arts. I forgot he breathes water also. (Growth is ignorable basically because he was permantly grown). In my 5th edition/6th edition headcanon, he was a college janitor working during the incident which gave Teriset and that other guy his powers. To make matters worse, the shard went into his head and brain, so it is slowly killing him while gifting him flight and super strength.
  18. Sounds more like Sense: Range as a mental sense, with a N-Ray advantage so walls and such won't block it. Prehaps range and Megarange.
  19. Teleportation can be used to go through Entangles, unless the Entangle or Barrier has "Cannot Be Teleport Through" (I don't remember how much this cost). If the Entangle or Barrier has Affects Desolification it can block and work against phasing people also. I can see Teleportation with "Usable As Tunneling" to simulate such a ability. Othoe I kinda like a permanent Desolification, Always On, Reduced Endurance (0 END Cost), Invisible Power Effects (two senses, since Detect Magic should still work), Only Against Living Plant Matter. It also works against wooden clubs and stakes and wooden spears without thoes pesky metal points on them.
  20. The GREAT luke ski works. I agree. Have you actually read there Champions RPG page?
  21. I believe Loki is rapidly approaching anti-hero territory.
  22. If the above shapeshifter actually wants his crimes shifted to who he is impersonating, he must first... ...do his crime in front of people who knows who he is impersonating... ...make sure who he is impersonating is out of the way enough that someone can't say "he was with me at that time"... ...that the impersonation doesn't have any powers he doesn't possess or can mimic (why isn't Doctor Phantom phasing into the wall to get away?)... And prehaps more I'm not thinking of.
  23. Nocturnal Eternal Organization- Operation Tengu Yaten Ugella Goonga Harmonga.
  24. That Time I Got Reincarded As A Slimy Telemarketer
  25. Isakai Champions Your an average joe living in the real world. One day, while crossing the street you get hit by Truck-kun. You awaken in the hospital in a superhero laiden world. In fact, every PC awakens in the hospital in a superhero laiden world. Also, everyone has a superpower or two. Truck-kun didn't take everyone to the new world (there are other methods of extradimensinal travel after all). Some of you might actually only be in a coma in the real world.
