  1. Excellent idea! And if I may make a suggestion? You can do one of several things to keep them from sliding around: Print them on static plastic sheeting (the stuff they make window decals from) Print them on heavy card stock Attach velcro to each side, and allow it to overhang so that the pieces can be velcroed in together Attach a thin piece of rubber pad to the bottom (the stuff they put on the bottom of coasters Just a few ideas there.
  2. These are obviously well thought out to be used in a modular way. I like that type of format. It is great for ad hoc areas/battles. Major kudos.
  3. Dude that sucks! I suppose that is a dangerous combination though, artist and athlete. Especially an athlete that chases really hard wooden balls. Don't they wear some sort of protective gauntlet in Lacrosse? Sorry to hear about that.
  4. sheesh! Even your wireframes are better than my best drawing. Now that's sad.
  5. Re: Re: Re: Looking forward to you spending my money Please do. I would really like to know about the character stats as well. Do you prefer the brief format or the larger versions, and what characters interest you and which don't. Gold Rush Games is creating conversions for all three products, and is currently only converting SA to Hero, however there may be some conversion guidelines released that would allow anyone to convert however they wish in the future. Are you asking to be able to convert in all directions or from one specifically to another, ie A!S to Hero?
  6. Just out of curiosity how many folks would be interested in HeroDesigner Character packs for the SA books? I'm not making any promises of any kind, I'm just wondering.
  7. Re: Looking forward to you spending my money It matches the quality of SA. The only missing from the last draft that I played with was a map of China Town.
  8. Re: Re: San Angelo Fan Cool! I got a plug! Thanks Mark for that vote of confidence!
  9. Re: San Angelo Fan That shouldn't be the case this time around. HeroDesigner was used to create all the characters, and thus everything should be correct. Enjoy!
  10. Re: Killer Shrike 1) Make a post, and attach the picture 2) Click on the link to the picture 3) Copy the URL from the new window that opens with the picture. 4) Edit your post by typing in <img src=" than paste the URL from step 3, and then type "> 5) Submit the edit. There you have it.
  11. Does this have to be artwork, or can we include doctored photos and whatnot?
  12. Re: Re: Re: Shintai THANKS! That's an incredibly cool site BTW. What are you using for the animations and such? I like the whole computer interface feel to it. Very well put together.
  13. And the HDC file? I like the character concept. He's a perfect nonchalant character to really bother PCs.
  14. Really?? Unfortunately, I am not at my HD computer to test this, but couldn't you just include the anchor tag in the export template? Something like: <a name="<CHARACTER_NAME>"> I'll have to give it a shot tonight, and see if I can make it make more sense.
  15. Re: Shintai All I can say is SWEET!!! You wouldn't have a writeup of this character do you? In HeroDesigner perhaps? Please?
  16. Hey KS, good idea! How about this one: Add the anchor tag automatically into the export template. Then no one has to remember.
  17. Re: Sounds like an Origin to Me LS: Extreme Cold, Matter surfing/skating ice and snow, ice puck energy blast (he makes the puck and smacks it with his ice hockey stick. He can sculpt non-mechanical objects out of ice (disappearing/reappearing equipment) as he needs it. Extra PD for all the damage taken on the rink, extra ED vs. Cold(/Fire?) MA: Hockey: Body Check, Stick Slap, punches, trip, breakfall, ma grab, shove, move-through, move-by, WE: Hockey Stick, +2 HTH Damage. How does that sound?
  18. Thanks! I have gotten many compliments on it. I'm thinking of using all of them. I'll probably modify them a bit to fit my campaign, but I'm sure they will make great NPCs. Thanks for the files!
  19. Re: Challenge Answered Well done! Could we have the HDC file? I think HG Wells may be able to give us our next character...
  20. So will we be seeing the hdc files for these? They are well done, and I think I can put them to use.
  21. Re: A Closer Look Make sure that you are using the code as I indicated above with the < and > symbols. Don't use the {IMG} button on the Post screen.
  22. Couple things here. Don't try to link to free sites. Tripod, geocities, et el all have restrictions to prevent linking to them so that their bandwidth doesn't get abused. Don't try to upload an image from a website. You need the actual files if you are going to attach it. If you don't have the actual image on your computer, go to it on the web, right click on it and choose Save As. Put it on your computer. Then do the attachment again pointing to your local drive. That should work better for you.
  23. You can actually do it from within the board... 1) Make a post, and attach the picture 2) Click on the link to the picture 3) Copy the URL from the new window that opens with the picture. 4) Edit your post by typing in <img src=" than paste the URL from step 3, and then type "> 5) Submit the edit. There you have it.
  24. The easiest way is to click the attachment button at the bottom of a new post. If you want to have the picture actually display that is a bit more involved. Which would you like to do?
