  1. Re: CONGRATULATIONS DURIN ! SA's BACK !! I too am a lover of maps. I use ProFantasy's CC2 and I'll will endeavor to provide as much as I can as well as clean up some of the existing maps. Would a San Angelo City map book be something that you would be interested in?
  2. I am doing exactly that. Yes, I have had some of these same thoughts... *shhh* don't tell anyone, but... You bet I will! That was something that really attracted me to the material as well. You are very insightful... I'm not sure which 5th edition corporations you are referring to. I'm assuming that you are speaking of DoJ material? SA is a different world setting, but there will be suggestions for GMs to use to incorporate/replace both worlds' material. I have never been bound by source material. As a GM, I mix and match material as I see fit, but as the developer of the SA line I will have to stay within its boundries, but you shouldn't let that hinder you and your own creativity.
  3. You need to read the books more thoroughly I think. You would be very impressed with Enemies of San Angelo. I think it is exactly what you are looking for.
  4. Thank you. I am already working on the 2nd edition. Your concerns and feelings are the same as mine. As a long time GM and gamer I understand what you are saying, and believe me, you won't be disappointed.
  5. Lets just say that the line as whole will grow, and it will grow in good ways. You are just going to have to wait and see, but as a fellow gamer I can promise that you'll be very happy.
  6. Re: Something different... I think I've seen that building, or something similar. I used to live in Ypsilanti right by the big central park. We actually lived above a BBQ place in a strip mall. I can't remember the names of the streets though. I was too young. I'll have to ask my mom where that was exactly.
  7. Just thought I would point out a general announcement: New Developer Announced Hey that's me! So does anyone have any comments, questions or concerns that they would like to send my way regarding the San Angelo line?
  8. Thanks for the compliment. Now all I need to practice is time, time, time
  9. Nice site Blue. Do you have an exterior pic of the House of Rain? That would be cool to see I would think. Even a cutaway of the elevation would be cool. Have you created a map of Lazerus? It sounds huge. Anyway, I don't want to divert the thread so... The covers are very cool. I wish I had someone in my group or even myself that was artistic enough to do something like that.

    Say the word

Here is a good writeup of Cheerleader Martial Arts from EZ Hero I think: Cheerleading Cheerleading is a modern American martial art involving kicks, twirls, and pompoms. A very active martial art, the practitioner is in nearly constant motion when in combat. This martial art relies on surprise, motion, and feints (via pompom-covered hands). Cheerleading is a constantly evolving martial art, as its practitioners develop new moves or refine the old ones at the start of each sports season. Famous characters using this martial art include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and… well… that’s pretty much it. It’s intended as a humorous style, but it can be used seriously as a way to flesh out a non-combative character. It can also be defined as a dance style, for characters that cheerleading wouldn’t be appropriate for. 11. Ah, I see. I think it is a curse of mine to see faces everywhere. I had a very tramatic experience as a child thanks to my uncle and an extremely scary holloween mask and I think it affected me in a very odd way. Anyway, as for Epoch's face it seems somewhat long. Sort of a Jay Leno long, but with less chin . Other than that I can't nit pick too much as I don't have the artistic talent to stand on.
  12. Wildcat, I like the little subtle things you add just as much as the overall drawings. Such as the different signature backgrounds, and are those faces in Epoch's cloak?
  13. Re: Another one I just colored... Try saving as a PNG. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
  14. The System Request (SysRq) is activated on most laptops by holding the Function (Fn) key and pressing it. The default for that button is the PrntScrn functionality. As stated previously, pressing it by itself copies the entire screen as an image to the Windows Clipboard. Pressing it with the Alt key held down copies the active window as an image to the clipboard. In both cases simply open any graphic program you have and either press Ctrl+V (hold down the ctrl key and press 'v') or go to the Edit menu and select Paste or if your program has it click the paste button. Your screen capture should now be sitting in the current document window. FYI, this has been a standard since the Windows 95 days, and works in every version of Windows since then.
  15. neither It isn't a problem at all. It is the poster. If they don't include the image in the HTML of the post it won't show up in the post.
  16. Re: Attempted and failed again... I'm glad I could of service... It is odd that you had to press all three... I'll shall check this tomorrow when I get into work (I'm a network administrator/ former IT teacher). I'm just glad it is working for you now.
  17. Re: Thanks Could it be that you are not pasting the image into an image editor? Try this: 1) create an image in Hero Machine 2) Press Print Screen 3) Open Photoshop and start a new blank image 4) Either go to Edit--> Paste or press Ctrl+V That should paste the image into the new canvas and allow you to crop the image as desired.
  18. I would like to add just one thing to what Starlord has said. He is correct the Print Screen will capture the entire screen. However, if you want to capture the current active window you can press Alt+Print Screen. I use that when I want to capture dialog boxes or the like.
  19. Steve Jackson Games has them in bulk and in different colors.
  20. Re: Magmarock 1) Make a post, and attach the picture 2) Click on the link to the picture 3) Copy the URL from the new window that opens with the picture. 4) Edit your post by typing in <img src=" than paste the URL from step 3, and then type "> 5) Submit the edit. There you have it.
  21. Another very interesting sidenote would be that if you use a plastic cover, laminate, etc. you can draw right on the surface usually with a dry erase or wet erase marker depending on the type of plastic.
  22. That's a good point. I should have thought of that. I think it's because they are so common they seem to be public. I'll see if I can wrangle up some good pics to put in the HDC files. Thanks for that legal refresher.
  23. Since the characters are being posted does anyone have some good quality pictures of the various characters that could be posted as well?
  24. FYI I just thought it might be worth mentioning for folks that are planning on doing USPD submissions AND have HeroDesigner that there is a Character Template and Export Template available in the HD FreeStuff section that might make the process a little easier, and it even exports in the "official" format Steve wants. If you use it please do me a favor, and let me know what you think, and if there are any problems.
