He’ll appeal so probably won’t need to report, even if sentenced to jail, but is a good outcome. I hope they put an ankle monitor on him.

    I prefer a jacuzzi tub in a 1927 Model T.

It's in one of the rooms in a bed and breakfast in St George, Utah. My late wife and I stayed there a couple of times in the 2000s, when it was known as the Seven Wives Inn.

A few years back, I asked my doctor about Placebo, and he offered to write me a prescription. He recommended a name-brand placebo, as people often believe it's more effective. He then asked me if I wanted an injectable, tablets, or capsules.

A24 seems to be very successful in turning a small budget into a successful movie. Perhaps it's a lesson for the big companies to not bet exclusively on $200M+ blockbusters.

Yeah I love pocket watches and carry one when I go out, can't stand a watch on my wrist.  But I'm in the very great minority.  It appears already that people are shifting away from movies, even a film people generally would enjoy and see a lot like Fall Guy basically choked and died in the theater.  I think an overall lack of quality, a rise in competition, the huge expense of going to see a movie, and the quality of home theaters all combine to decline interest in going to see a film, at least first run full price ones.

I have over 20 watches. A couple are mechanical, but the majority of them are solar, and several of them synchronize with the atomic clock radio signal from Fort Collins, Colorado (and others around the world). They all are much more convenient than pulling out my Pixel 8 Pro just to check the time.

Not a yank, Canadian, we have our own numbskulls up here. IT IS not enough to just vote, you need to get invoived, join a candidate, knock on doors, help distribute propaganda I mean election materials. AS a youth I did just that, became involved in helping a candidate win their with about 5000 of my age mates (was the best 30 days i ever spent) yah, unlike you souheners our elections generally run 30 t0 45 days, I shudder thinking about 6 months let alone multiple years. I have never regretted that 39 days, 36 actually.

RNC "fan mail" received a few days ago. The materials inside are as you would expect, with lots of use of "Patriot" anc "Crooked Joe". There's a "Pledge" form asking for money, and I'm tempted to send it back with a note in black Sharpie that I gave my donation to the Biden Campaign, as the RNC don't seem to want any "RINOs" in their party.

The Hunt for Red October: A Russian submarine commander apparently goes rogue, and is hunted by fleets from the Soviet Union and the United States. It's a great watch.

Paramount released a special package of the movie, which includes the 4K UHD Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, DVD, and a digital copy for $10.99. I had watched the 4K version with Dolby Vision HDR, and it is probably clearer than when I first watched it at the movie theater back in 1990. It has a 5.1 sound mix, which is also very well-done.
