Re: Of Rules Changes and AOEs/DFC (or, How to Beat the Brick) We never had a problem with this. Sometimes there was a standoff and the brick had less phases to lose. We had different DFC rules and if the brick was going to be using an area effect, then the squishing made sure to stand in the same hex as a friend. -

Re: The cranky thread Hmm. Doubtful that this would actually happen, but a job I'm looking at is based not that far from Phoenix. Well, about as far from LA as Phoenix. More likely my wife would get the job she's interested in. Not sure if this is cranky or just quandry.

Re: unexpected depth to the story - er, suggestions welcome Actually, the story is similar to "The Great Supervillian Contest". One of the first scenario books for Champs. Kind of like Contest of Champions and a few other comic story arcs. Of course, it could really of been Foxbat all along and he just came up with the story to keep his dental records.

Re: Musings on Random Musings lol. The red die was there all along. It's the stun die for the other 14 dice. It's hard to tell, but there are 3 small white dice in front of the stack. (probably because they're cropped out...) And when I say change is afoot, I was just going over things in my head and just was reviewing this tool I found via a job application near the end of last year.

Re: The Last Word Not as much since college which is when I stopped growing so fast. Though there was that bad day after my roommate pointed out I had an auto-duck feature when I got to a door. At which point I over thought it and smacked my head a few times. The only time doors get me now are if they're slightly less than standard height. If it's more than an inch I notice.
