  1. Re: Terminal Velocity Well, I wouldn't have him do +25d6 with that. Would be a +0 STR Move-thru. I think that the best way to do this power was already discussed. It's a 30d6 EB with some limitations. On the power as master villian, perhaps. When I GM, I tend to look at powers for PCs with different criteria than villians. 1. Is this power balanced? 2. Is this power going to annoy the hell out of me? And #2 sometimes depends on the player. If a power is too annoying, then it's a power for villians to use. That way the player characters can beat the tar out of someone with a power that's just too annoying.
  2. Re: The Last Word I think "No" isn't a very good last word.
  3. Re: Terminal Velocity While critising the system is fine, calling people morons for sticking with a rule may be the problem. Heck, I hold onto the 30d6 terminal velocity because it doesn't come up often enough. If you're an abrasive jerk when it comes to "championing" your point of view you will not get people to see your point. They'll go "Geez, what a <snip>" Learn some valid debating techniques and maybe we'll listen.
  4. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat "Come to Micheal Jackson Daycare!"
  5. Re: Delete me please lol! I like Solomon's example.
  6. Re: The cranky thread That would start to smell bad. I like Old Man's method better, just have them disappear in the middle of the night.
  7. Re: A Thread for Random Musings So I'm watching Dogma and I mutter "I bet that's the line Tribble was talking about" Thankfully, my wife is used to my mutterings...
  8. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I've hit 17000 and just in time to give Some lucky winner an extra point.
  9. Re: Fuzion Fuzion wasn't that horrible, but the way it was presented was horrible. The bait and switch approach hardly ever works. Didn't help that they then ran into bad money problems on top of it.
  10. Re: To Boldy Go... Nice to see they also pay for the taxes incurred by the grand prize.
  11. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Only a little.
  12. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER A couple of the stores in Portland stock Hero pretty well. What is the sales tax in AZ and UT? (I'll just be looking it up...)
  13. Re: Why Are You Hitting Yourself? Enough Defenses to take the hit and a Damage Shield with the limitation (only up to attacks level) would be another way.
  14. Re: Musings on Random Musings Those are rare, but you can sometimes see that. I know I've changed my view on a couple areas. Sometimes not due to an argument they've made, but more with information granted. Have I changed my view completely on anything, probably not. More of a "Hmm, maybe that viewpoint is a bit extreme, what's a better way to sneak it by..."
  15. Re: Musings on Random Musings Um. NGD is Non Gaming Discussion. That can be Religion, Politics, Social Chit Chat, Movies, Naval Lint, or pointless arguing. Oh wait, that last one was covered. I used to get more involved with the political threads, but it often is just the same positions with a new layer of cheap paint on it. That gets old real fast. I'm here for the gaming threads and some social chit chat.
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well, based on the picture name being bourette and a quick google shows her to be Caprice Bourret. Wonderbra, Maxim, Playboy, and apparently has a CD out.
  17. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Bet he was going for 6k, but missed.
  18. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Lots of clothing impaired women out there! We must go help!
