Re: Mecha in Star Hero Ultimate Vehicle pretty much has everything you need. IIRC, Spacer's Toolkit also has a section on Mecha. Not sure how useful - I don't use Mecha in my Star Hero games.

Re: What Fantasy/Sci-Fi book have you just finished? Please rate it... Totally excellent book - you should try Bester's The Demolished Man, I rate it equally as highly. Oh, and there's a Graphic Novel of The Stars My Destination by Howard Chaykin. Fantastic adaptation. I just finished Night Train to Rigel by Timothy Zahn. Sci-Fi meets Film Noir detective story. Quite enjoyable.

Re: Character: Admiral Dame Honor Harrington I think I agree with the concept that Honor gets her telempathic attributes via her mindlink to Nimitz. Even after Nimitz was injured, he could still sense feelings and emotions - it was only after his reunion with Samantha that anyone realised he couldn't ALSO engage in full telepathic contact with another treecat. He wasn't deafened, merely struck dumb. I also would agree with a speed upgrade to 4. I would also like to see how you do up Lt Colonel Ramirez...

Re: What Have You Watched Recently? I caught the last half of a movie called "Strings" a couple hours ago. It's entirely acted by wooden marionettes, with basically no facial expression; in fact, in a battle scene at the end a lot of the attacking soldiers had very stylized, almost "faceless" heads. This was one of the most emotionally charged and masterfully directed movies I've seen in years, and the emotions could be conveyed only in the voices of the actors and the musical score. It had love, tragedy, conflict, treachery and loyalty, all the good stuff, and none of the Hollywood shyness about real emotion by defusing it with comedy. I'm going to try to track this one down on DVD.
