  1. Re: Van Damme does Pulp I quite enjoy The Quest - and I really wish they'd done the sequel to it they planned. Ah, well. Jean Claude also did a piece set in the Wild West. It's not as good, but worth watching - unfortunately, I never caught the name.
  2. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Par Avion - Mike and the Mechanics.
  3. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Hey, Joe - Jimi Hendrix
  4. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Miranda? James? Suzy? Linda? What are you doing, and what's with all the whipped cream? A: Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
  5. Re: Re-Imaged Hero(ines) Okay, lets dig into the archives for something a little obscure. To wit - The Human Target.
  6. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Didn't you tell Alley Oop about the problem with prunes? A: I don't think I wanted to know that.
  7. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Hundreds of Languages - GangGaJang.
  8. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Take the Reins - Mike and the Mechanics
  9. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Why did you go into the Measles ward, you idiot!!? A: Disco Duke.
  10. Re: WWYCD: Will you forgive me? Terminus' greatest enemy is The Red Cyborg, terrorist, mass murderer, assassin and all-around pure evil. Terminus would put a 1/2 inch railgun shell into his forehead before he'd finished speaking.
  11. Re: WWYCD: "I, For One, Welcome Our New Insect Overlords" That's "Abolitionist". Terminus - would really be torn. He honestly believes that Earth would be a better place under a single government - in fact, he can prove it if he can ever find a way home. And as for the Mantids, well, he's worked with stranger people before. But he's not going to let them enslave humans. He'd have to insist on an equal partnership.
  12. Re: WWYCD: An Alien among them Terminus has already been in this situation once, albeit not as badly - he came to the campaign world hunting criminals from his own parallel earth. So, what works once would probably work again. Surrender to the local authorities, learn the language - and probably become a superhero for them too. It's waht he was made for, after all.
  13. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Is that thing giving me the finger? A: Dungeon Sleaze
  14. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Lifeline - Spandau Ballet
  15. Re: Thanks from a GM It's worse then that, he's a Daoist...
  16. Re: WWYCD ( Iron Age ): Fortress of Solitude Terminus would be intrigued. He'd get the team together, contact UNTIL, and lead an expedition to the base, with the intention of finding out all there is to know. His reasoning is this: Superman, as portrayed in the comics, is almost unbelievably powerful. If he actually exists, he could be the greatest boon to humankind in all of history - or it's most lethal threat. Either way, understanding the reality of the myth is the key to unlocking the mystery.
  17. Re: WWYCD: This Is A Very Delicate Operation... Terminus would be grateful to the villain. But that wouldn't stop him smashing Mr. Creepy into paste if he continued to bother her during her convalescence.
  18. Re: WWYCD?: You Shall Be Mine, My Love... Given there is only one female member of The Edge, and Terminus feels quite protective towards her, Mr Stalker would be well advised to take out life insurance.
  19. Re: World at War!: Hitler's minions For the Hagalaz Rune - I might suggest a martial artist. My German is bad, but something like "The Sergeant" or "The Cadre" for a name - a grizzled old veteran, fought all the way through WWI, been training recruits forever. Give him the whole set of Commando Training and Dirty Infighting maneuvers - he knows all the tricks - and plenty of skill levels. So what does the Rune give him? Find Weakness on all Martial Maneuvers. Against him, all are weak.
  20. Re: WWYCD: More Than Meets The Eye... Terminus would attempt to broker a peace between the machines and the humans, and point out that the sentient machines, too, need "dumb" machines to help them - even if it's just gas pumps. As an artificial human himself, he's uniquely suited to be a go-between. Ultimately, If he couldn't get them to listen to reason he'd do a Magnus on their ass, but that would be the last resort.
  21. Re: Rocket-propelled Chainsaw "You must spread some..." THAT is divinely inspired lunacy.
  22. Re: WWYCD: A Bomb for Two Cities If Terminus is on his own, he can only use his HRRP to broadcast a warning to New York, then grab the Bomb in Edge City and take it down to the deep tunnels left over from the old Fusion Reactor Experiment - preferably one of the flooded ones. Then use his guns and punching the walls to bring the roof down on it. He's probably safe from the Mutagen - his suit is full life support for up to an hour. On the other hand, if The Edge is in on this, we have many more options. Entropy could teleport to NY in under an hour, and Avatar could shift both bombs to Earth Orbit in seconds once he got to them.
  23. Re: Yet ANOTHER WWYCD: Against your team Terminus would probably go down, but he has a small chance. Zero would be his first target. While Zero couldn't use his mind powers to find Terminus, his Mental Blast will give me fits. Plus, he's one of two fliers in the group. Plan: Try to ambush Zero from range, use the Retributor Pistol's Homer setting if need be (3d6 RKA, No Range Penalty). Avatar would be next, and probably one of the easiest. He's the team energy projector and the other flier, but he's not very dextrous and has sub-standard defences. I'd try to get him on the ground, Maybe use another Homer shot. Entropy would be next. She's our other EP, but she teleports instead of flying. The problem would be that Terminus would not use his guns against her - he feels very protective of her, and once swore to protect her. If he can get her alone, he can probably overpower her and knock her out, but that would be quite difficult. Trawler is the real problem. He's the team brick, but he's also as fast as Terminus (6) and almost as dextrous (27 vs. 30) - and he's bigger, tougher and can superleap (of all the team, Terminus alone has no inherent movement power). Terminus' only real chance would be to stand back and pump standard rounds into Trawler - even he can't shrug off 3d6 AP RKA's indefinitely. If I'm forced into HTH, I'd use my Lance of Light - 6d6 NND, defence is FF or prevention of physical contact, and Trawler doesn't have a Force Field. Downside - 12- Burnout roll.
  24. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Just don't call it "on YouTube Now", for the sake of life and sanity... Dance of the Curse - Escaflowne Soundtrack, Yoko Kanno
