So, I put together a list of musicals albums just to see what it would look like these days. Here's what I have, though subject to revision. Once again, no particular order. And strictly stage, no movies. 
 
Chess Jesus Christ Superstar  The Who's Tommy Once on this Island  Cats Too many honorable mentions to list them all, but difficult choices include Fiddler on the Roof, Assassins, Snoopy!!! The Musical, Sweeney Todd

This is trickier than I anticipated because I usually don't think in terms of albums. Most of my choices are either greatest hits compilations or soundtracks. So, in no particular order...

A Kind of Magic, otherwise known as the lost soundtrack for Highlander!   Nice pull.  A question though, how come Bat out of Hell II and not the original?   Was it a particular song that made the difference?
     Not a challenge, just a topic for discussion like I hoped this would bring.

     No need to fight you, those are all great picks.  It’s just that those types of soundtracks were going to be my next thread after we chewed this bone a while.   

Thinking mostly of albums I can listen to straight though. Not sure if these are the best of all time, but this is what's coming to mind right now.  All lists are in order of album name.

Which albums stick in the heads of zombies the best?

I was inspired by the 3 songs thread so let’s do this.  What are your five favorite albums/ Greatest of all Time? 
I’m going to put in one rule here and if there’s a dispute I will hear all sides and then make the ruling.  There are a great many wonderful soundtrack albums out there. But we will not be allowing ones like The Big Chill, Almost Famous or Forrest Gump that pick and choose individual songs from many artists and many albums. 
   These must be either from one performer/band or one performance from many bands ie; Live Aid or Woodstock.

You practically demanded it of me 3 Siouxsie and the banshees songs. Spellbound is overused as it appears in almost all compilations where they want a Banshees track so 
 
Fireworks. Not available on any album until the second singles collection this has orchestra and band.
Dazzle. I have fond memories of the video of this being broadcast on TV and the presenter's face afterwards told the story of 'I have no idea what this is about'
The Last Beat of My Heart. This is an album track from the Peepshow album which was used by White Wolf to illustrate the end of a Vampire's quest for Golconda. A love song
