  1. Re: FOXBAT !! Foxbat need pants too! or the color is just right to look like isn't wearing any.
  2. Ignore, I'm subscribing to get updates.
  3. They would also have an extra time limitation to show how long it took to reload. Extra time (1 turn) is probably max, as many soldiers who practiced alot could get off 5 to 6 shots a minute. TimS.
  4. As per many other games. There is no inherent combat facing. A character is considered to be moving and looking around enough that facing isn't important unless surrounded by more than two or three enemys. TimS.
  5. When I play a character my rolls are usually average (or slightly on the low side). When I GM orget about me hitting. It doesn't matter the system either. If there is a fight and I GM I can't hit. In D&D it also applied to rolling HPs. I've literally rolled a 10HD monster's hp and came up with 14! I'm also the only person I know who has rolled a natural 3 on 3d6 weighted to roll 18. TimS.
  6. Doc Optic Silvershine Lightshow Holigram
  7. Could you post Doc Virtual on the character thread? I f you have his sheet of course. He is a very cool mentalist. TimS.

  11. A British themed Super for WWII for you. My own creation, even. Warwolf Lord Robert Charles Weyrlund In the early 1500s the Duke of Weyrlund was cursed by a witch to become a Werewolf. The curse was also to be inherited by the eldest of each generation. He went to several mystics to get it removed, but she had done her work to well. The best that any could do, was to give him and his decendents control as long as they helped the people of Britian. The latest in the line, Robert, first changed during school finals in 1934 when he was 15. (It seemed that the first change came at somepoint during puberty) The war broke out in 1939 while he was attending Oxford. He deicded that the patriotic thing to do was to enlist. He was sent to OCS and while there revealed his secret to his high officers. He was sent to the fledgling British Supers Agency, taking the name Warwolf. Being still, a soldier, he joined the SAS/SBS when it was launched. So he fights side by side with other allied heros, and also goes on Commando raids and secret missions for British Intellegence. He is well known to not let any soldier who goes in with him be left behind. Robert is very affiable, and has little of the stuck-up nature of many British Nobility. He loves the reaction people have when they see him sipping tea in Werewolf form. He has meet the King and Prime Minister Churchill, and been asked to demonstrate his transformation to both. This embaressed him as he had to take off his uniforn Jacket and shirt so as not to tear them. ______________________________ Hope you like him, I created him as a background to a teen hero in modern day who is his granddaughter. TimS.
  12. I liked both pics, but just got both as of 2 minutes ago. so dont get discouraged, they were really good. TimS.
  13. I goes back to before 5th came out. Someone asked Steve what they should call the new tome as BBB (Big Black Book) was already in use for 4th (Big BLUE Book). Steve responded to the effect of "You can call it Fred for all I care, so long as you buy it." (NOT a direct quote!) It stuck and someone later came up with the Acronym of Fifth Rules EDition. TimS. If I got any details wrong, someone please correct me.
  14. Good Idea: A character wo likes to expose crime. Bad Idea: A character who likes to expose himself.

  21. Re: American Valor WOW!
  22. A couple of rough spells (not completed game mechanic wise) for the college of Air Whisper when a mage of air wishes to tell someone something that no one else should hear, he uses this spell. The person can be as close as next to the mage or as far away as across a battlefeild. A person next to the mage with very acute hearing can overhear what the Mage whispers, as the mage must actually whisper the message. Whisper: 6d6 Telepathy, Standard Effect, Only for Sending (-1), RSR (magic roll), gestures, incantations, instant (doesn't stay hooked up) Sheild Wind Mages are extremely vulnerable in combat. Air Mages have developed this spell to help them survive better against arrows and other missles that they'ed be shot with to nuetralize them. Sheild Wind: +4 DCV vs. Ranged Atts, RSR (magic skill), gestures, incantations, constant (? is this needed for a spell?) TimS.
  23. Nah, It's the Arrow of Healing. You have to be shot by it to have any effect. timS.
  24. In a Forgoten Realms Campaign I was in when the reboot from 1st to 2nd ed. happened. The GM decided to run us thru the Shadowdale trilogy of modules based on the books. During the Battle of Shadowdale, One character scores multiple criticals against Banes avatar. The GM ignores this, to let the senario run its course. Elminster fights him and disappears as is supposed to. The Mage PCs (including one with Spellfire) are arrested for killing him. Here is were it went completely off track. The group's Paladin (me) will not help break the others out of Jail. The group's thief is tired of losing Horses (we had lost about 5 sets so far in the campaign) so also does not go in. We both say we will meet them downstream (they are to take a boat) with the horses. Needless to say, the breakout attempt fails. The mage PCs are not released (they are supposed to be). The next morning the mage PCs are put on trial, and one gets the bright idea to cast a low level fireball to disrupt the trial and escape. The GM rolls on the wild magic table and gets MAX Effect. The mage then goes on and is the ONLY one that fails his save and dies. The spellfire weilder heals Shadowdales mayor (who was in neg hp, dying but not dead) then holds him hostage. The game paused at this point as there was no way the PCs could escape from the entire town. The GM took 3 hours of brainwracking to figure out how to get us out of this mess. TimS.
