wcw43921
I had both of these kits when I was much, much younger. Originally released by Monogram Models, reproductions are available from Atlantis Models and should be easy to find online. It was the story Snoopy And The Red Baron that sparked my longtime interest in World War I aviation. death tribble and Old Man

wcw43921
Quite possibly the best rendering of Tiamat ever, based on the 1980s D&D cartoon. Ask yourself--can you truly put a price on geek happiness?

Ternaugh
I have the old Lego sets, Sopwith Camel is sitting on the top of some shelves, the Red Baron set is still new in box. My goal is to hang them from the ceiling, being chased by a Lego Tie Fighter.
Cancer
You could go for true ancient grognard status and build the TIE fighter out of old wooden Tinkertoys.

wcw43921
I had no idea this existed when I was little, and it's just as well, because I would have made a complete nuisance of myself begging for it-- More about this can be found here Logan D. Neighbor had one and actually it did. Turns out that if you put a 3/8" layer of cake batter in a shallow dish and leave it close enough to an incandescent light bulb, it'll bake. It'll even be technically edible. Never saw them try to bake anything else.

Did they work? My sister had one and it worked pretty well. We used it for over a year until someone fell on it and broke it. Cakes came out pretty good, so did brownies but cookies were hard. And it was pretty safe. It was just a 60-watt bulb in an enclosed reflective box. Edited August 25 by Grailknight
