I'll start with a new find, Hawkeye statue! A thing of beauty modeled after Skottie Young's cover.

Here's the cover from Skottie Young, a favorite artist of mine.

Where do boardgames come in this?

Pretty close to them. After all, there are many boardgames designed specifically for children, including games centered on dexterity and plastic equipment like Hungry Hungry Hippos. These can be surprisingly difficult, even for adults (although the target audience doesn't know it), as many adults lose the required skills as they age. Plus adults tend to rely on plausible deniability about such things. And games like Jenga are played more by adults than children. I know from experience that Jenga is maddeningly difficult at any age.

These are often a gateway to a lifetime of game-playing, and so are a phenomenal thing for us.

Does my every growing expansion of Age of Sigmar models count as toys?

All are welcome! I know we have some miniature painters, too. Maybe they're posting on game specific fora, I don't know. But i went to a local toy con a week ago and wanted to share some finds, so we need a thread.

Lately I've been collecting Masters of the Universe Origins figures.  I have 27 figures from the collection, I have a Tri-Klops to but he's actually from the original collection.  I picked him up at a Comic Con, cause I wasn't able to find the origins version of Tri-Klops anyplace.  He doesn't have any of his accessories but aside from that he's in pretty good shape.  The other figures are: He-Man, Battle Cat, Skeletor, Panthor, Sun-Man, Stridor, Lord Pig-Head, Sorceress, Ram Man, Buzz Off, Clamp Champ, Man At Arms, Stratos, Man E Faces, Fisto, Beast Man, Trap Jaw, Clawful, Faker, Anti Eternia He-man, Jitsu, Mer-Man, Stinkor, Evil-Lyn, Buzzsaw Hordak, Horde Trooper and Mantenna.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on McFarlane's new lineup of Super Powers toys.  They look really great, especially the comic-accurate Supermobile, and while the figures don't have the Power Action features of the originals, the sculpting and articulation make up for it.  The Super Powers were a favorite of mine back in the 80s, and it's good to have them back.
