Eosin
Alrighty, the number of Hero Games Fantasy Websites is pathetic. I know of several that are not listed so my question is what is stopping people from having DOJ list them? I also think we should create a list here so that we have something to reference. Opinons? I have a general fantasy homebrew website that uses Hero and some d20 stuff - including the Wheel of Time on my website but no Hero specific rules just yet. What do people want to see in Fantasy Hero Websites?

Killer Shrike
Originally posted by SaintQuakko Well, just 'cause I'm the first post, I'll drop http://www.killershrike.com Hey! Free plug! Thanx..... Actually, my site is listed on the HEROs "Fantasy Links" list courtesy of Ben Seeman. I think Eosin is looking for other websites that arent listed. Eosin? True/False? Killer Shrike
Ill take the opportunity to plug my old friend Hierax's website, GreyHERO: http://www.hierax.com/hero/fantasy/grey/ He's been trucking along with the content lately, as visitors to this forum know, and plus unlike me, he has the patience for PDF creation. Eosin
These are the two that I routinly visit. BUT, I know that there must be other ones out there that are good. A good 4E site is FH Treasure Trove And then a partially worked Birthright Hero site - BR Hero So anyone else have any hidden treasures? Maybe I should google again!! Hierax
Thanks for the mention guys! I'm honoured. I haven't asked Ben to post a link to my page because I really don't feel that I have enough content to merit it yet. As for other sites, I'll have to stop and take another look around sometime and see what's out there, I've generally just been cruising the same old sites (or looking at the old files I save on my HDD). FWIW, here's an (outdated) page of my Fantasy Hero links: http://www.hierax.com/hero/fantasy/grey/credits.html The link that I'd first add to the list is Mark Doc's page which his Multi-Powered Martial Arts system has really influence me and his Sengoku materials are very Fantasy Hero appropriate, not to mention the Ultimate Grimoire which is direct Fantasy content. Overall, I'd say Ed's (Killer Shrike's) site is the best overall as it has tons of content with new stuff constantly being churned out. And not only that he actually helps you create your own content with his NCM utility (which hopefully he'll improve even further in the near future.... I'll have to check through my old browser's bookmarks sometime and see what sites are still up and running. I meant to do it when FH came out but between that and Ed's site I got inspired to get off my arse and get to work on my own stuff, so I haven't looked up as much as I guess I should have. Glad to see this thread, maybe someone can put together a list of current fantasy hero sites.

I will see about building said list. I spent about 3 hours googling sites last night and got a whole gaggle pack of them but most are 4E. There's some good stuff there and I want to have it listed... but only if the owners want it listed.

Storn
This site is not Fantasy Hero specific, but rather "map" specific. I just used floor tiles for the first time my last SW fantasy game and they were a blast. I found many of those floor tiles here. So I post this and if folks know of any other "floormap/tile" sites, please post them! http://tamerthya.freeservers.com/Index.html

For anyone interested, the list is cleaned up and all links are current now. http://www.sysabend.org/champions/webdir/Hero_FantasyHero.html John Desmarais
Muldegian
Here ya go Storn. There was a similar thread in the ENworld art section not too long ago [about e-tiles] http://www.skeletonkeygames.com/downloads.html: Skeleton Key Ed http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/hosted/csp/page8.html Crooked Staff http://www.0onegames.com/pages/brands/mac/mac07.html 0one Games http://dungeoneering.ionichost.com/adventures.html http://www.sjgames.com/heroes/ There is also the SJGames Cardboard offering: Don't forget the free Maps on the wizards site - a few of them are tile scale: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mwa/archive2003

Galadorn
Re: Fantasy Hero Websites Originally posted by Eosin Alrighty, the number of Hero Games Fantasy Websites is pathetic. Yes it is, and the quality is questionable on many that exist. I know of several that are not listed so my question is what is stopping people from having DOJ list them? I also think we should create a list here so that we have something to reference. Opinons? We need a fantasy hero setting that is of premium quality. I don't see such a one, yet. Some very good ones, maybe, but not premium quality - of course I'm very picky. I have a general fantasy homebrew website that uses Hero and some d20 stuff - including the Wheel of Time on my website, but no Hero specific rules just yet. Ewwwwwww, I hate the Wheel of Time. Just my humble opinion. What do people want to see in Fantasy Hero Websites? Ummmmmmm, I don't know, maybe I'll create one - once I master HTML.
