Also feel free to work on your characters in the forums of Hero Central. I have some threads going there now. You might also want to consider turning on email notification. Not at all, though if the character guidelines are over at Hero Central tonight I'll get something together by this weekend. I used to be able to throw a character together in 15 minutes. American Airlines, TWA, Jet Blue or, my personal favorite, Virgin Atlantic (although the suit is anything but).
