While a fighting a villain with temporal powers your character finds himself thrown far back in time, back to the dawn of human civilization. For all intents and purposes, he or she is trapped in the past for life. Would she live a life of isolation, struggling not to change the past? Try to use her advanced knowledge to change history for the better and improve the lot of the primitive peoples around her? Something different all together? Edit:If it makes the answer more interesting, feel free to assume your character either knows how time travel works or doesn't in their universe. Cobalt would become a recluse, fearing his actions would interfere with the natural flow of time. Vantage would attempt to blend in, using his telepathy to learn about events and what caused them to avoid changing anything. Zectron would charge right in and begin to fight crime just as he always has. After all, don't these temporal things always work out in the end? Vantage would then put Zectron in a coma. She's also almost immortal, so eventually she'd found a peaceful and rather learned civilization. The idea of changing the time stream probably wouldn't occur to her until it was too late anyway. Shidoku: Doesn't have wildnerness skills, but is a survivor. She'd join with the strongest tribe and her metahuman combat abilities and healing factor should serve her pretty well. Eventually, she'd probably get lonely and end having kids adding some very powerful genes to that tribes bloodline perhaps leading to her own powers millenia later. Tao: Her mission remains the same, enforce Justice and law. She would endeavor to do so as best she could, hopefully creating a just and orderly society eventually. Eve:Would be REALLY sad to be lost so far from home and work to build a machine to reverse the effects. Without access to the internet it would be pretty hard for her. Of course she'd remember what Mr Chronos said about changing history and likely hide herself away somewhere in minimal mode to ponder the problem and while the millennia away until her friends and family were born again. He would build and launch a space drone, have it land on the dark side of the moon and have it broadcast its whereabouts to Good Guys, Inc. HQ thirty seconds after he left. If anyone can save him, it's them. Bouncer will wrestle all takers, defeating them handily and becoming chief of the nearest tribe. He will settle down with whomever looks the most like Darryl Hannah in Clan of the Cave Bear, and make meny fat bouncing babies Protector will become a wandering adventurer. Knowing he only has two shots in his modified, safety off, Viper Blaster pistol, he will never use it. With his incredible Martial Arts skills, he will free oppressed peoples from primitive warlords, and live out his fantasy to walk the earth, like Cain in Kung Fu. Toreador will become known as a bard, with his magic guitar, sword, and cape. Living as the Protector above, but with more style. He will ask his spirt guide why he is here and how to return. However, she also knows that the time machine didn’t work right the first time, that it is broken, and that the person that created the first one is in no position to repair it. So she won’t be anticipating a rescue any time soon. While she doesn’t have the survival skill, her knowledge in biology, her animal empathy powers, and her enhanced physical capabilities should enable her to manage to survive in reasonable comfort until she develops the necessary survival skills. Initially, she’d probably quickly bond with some of the native animals (preferably a wolf pack), and occasionally slip into nearby villages to steal needed items. Eventually, she’d probably end up taking on the role of Goddess of Animals and Healing for several of the local tribes. She would attempt to research a biological method to make it back to her time by either finding a way to make herself immortal or finding a way to put herself into some sort of suspended animation/hibernation. She might eventually marry one of the natives. She wouldn’t worry too much about changing the future. After all, she has no way of knowing what impact any of her actions will have. Who knows, maybe the future will be better off because of her. Sailor Io doesn’t have experience with time travel yet but will be positive that she is going to be rescued. Considering that her boyfriend Bladestar is an incredibly skilled gadgeter, her teammate Magnus is a potent mage, and that the rest of her teammates will be doing everything that they can to help, she’s probably right. Since she doesn’t have a lot of survival skills, Io will probably try to join a local tribe while she waits for the rescue and would end up raising the tribes technological level dramatically as she attempts to build her own time machine to get back home. (Sure, she knows her friends are coming to rescue her. But that doesn’t mean she can’t try to rescue herself first). While she will improve the tribe’s technology, she will not allow the tribe to discover her Senshi abilities unless there was no other way to save herself and the tribe from some sort of threat. Since the majority of her powers are only useful for combat (lightening blasts, freezing entangles, concealing fogs, etc.) she would be afraid the tribe would try to push her to use them to conquer their neighbors. However, she probably would use her weather control abilities subtly at times to bring a needed rain and such. Also, Io would spend a lot of time staring up at the moon and wondering if the Moonite Kingdom has been established yet, and wishing there was some way she could go there and talk with them. She would listen for rumors of other Moonites (Gods, Demons, Creatures of Legend etc) and if one was nearby would probably try to go and meet him or her. Even if for whatever reason rescue didn’t come and she couldn’t find a way to get back, she wouldn’t marry one of the natives. She truly loves Bladestar far to much to be happy with anyone but him. Just out of curiousity' date=' what are your tastes in games/characters?[/quote'] In Champions, I tend to play fairly typical, even ordinary, superheroes: grim avengers, ditzy energy projectors, aloof scientists. I do not often go in for the furry or anime style. I did once make up a character called Secret Agent Cat. His real name is Felix Goldstien III. His grandfather was a famous secret agent for the US after World War I, notorious for his "bag of tricks". Secret Agent Cat is a human-sized (a bit short for a human, actually: around 155 centimeters) cat in a human-centric game, though, not a furry character. Like all cats, Felix thinks he's human, but he is rather sensitive about his height. The closest I have come to an anime character is the proprietor of a noodle stand in a wild martial arts game. Yoshi practices Savory Noodles In Delicate Broth Style martial arts, which includes such eclectic maneuvers as the Noodle Slap (Hand Attack), the Face Full Of Noodles (Flash), and the Oodles Of Noodles (Entangle). That might not help him get back home though. He'd probably try to focus his power and develop a technique to psychically move him through time(ala Rachel from the X-men). And then the only problem was that one of the heroes wanted to walk up in 1969 and talk to the asternauts. Our biggest debate was whether it was a self-fullfilling time travel (it already happened this way) or whether we alter the "timeline". " She's a full-body cyborg and needs a considerable amount of specialized maintenance to keep working properly. She'd basically try to do as little as possible, and stay as close to her arrival point as possible, so as to stretch out her lifespan and improve the chance of a rescue party finding her. Champion Wind: "Oh crud... Suddenly I'm very glad Mom & Dad gave me all those survival lessons." She'd do her best to adapt to life as a cave girl until someone showed up to rescue her. She'd also work on raising the local tech level, especially things like soap, and clean water. She's a second generation hippie, but her parents are alternative pharmacists by trade: Hygeine is very important to her. The first time she uses her special powers, she'll be voted "local deity." Faye: "Good grief, I'm in Quest for Fire." She'd first use her extremely formidable mental powers to impress upon the local guys that she's not available, then spend a while in working out how to get home - she'll probably have to invent astronomy to get the temporal fix. Ika: "Home! No more weird monster-people!" or if this happens later, "Home! At last! No more weird montser-people! Wait... no sun-brought-in stones. No take-filth-away basins. Crud." There's no way he could resist the temptation to carve a name for himself that would rival the likes of Hercules. And a harem. He'd find a culture where harems are acceptable. Given a choice, no person would choose WW1 or WW2, and our enlightened society would not exist. maybe better maybe worse. you play with the hand delt to you, otherwise why play?
