steriaca
Re: Mystic Superheroes DC COMICS Bloodwynd ...dosen't belong on this list, because he realy was another idenity of The Martian Manhunter, and he used the excuse of "magic" as a cover for his alien powers. The members of The Endless might, but only vagly. (Dream has been known to interact with supers, and the same for Death, but then again, Death interacts with eveyone...that is her job). steriaca
Re: Mystic Superheroes More mysticals to add from the DC Universe... Swamp Thing (An Earth Elemental). Cain and Able (Embodiments of the "first story". Interacted with Blue Devil for a bit. Works for Dream.) Alright...Cain and Able are streching things... Madam Xanadu, a mystereous woman of gyspy blood who gives people the power to fight the supernatural on there own. Doctor 13. Sometimes confused with Mr. E, Doctor 13 is an investgator of the supernatural, but dosen't beleve in it. In fact, all his cases have a scientific explnation. Of course, he dosen't use magic himself...(or does he us it subconcesly to change all supernatural to scientific to suport his beliefes). Actually, Bloodwynd did appear later on. The Martian Manhunter "borrowed" his identity for a while, but Bloodwynd was not an identity he created. I forget the name of the series, but Bloodwynd was on the scene, with the Manhunter, when Ice was killed.

This is not exactly true: The gem that he wore actualy possesed the martian manhunter. After the possesion was over the real Bloodwyn (Who was traped inside said gem) was active for a short time period before disapearing into limbo. The real Bloodwyn had mystic powers There is actualy a link provided above that will take you to another link that gives a fair bio

I am wrong. I do notice that there is not a lot of Marvel mystical superheros. Let's add a few. Doctor Druid. Sleepwalker. Does Thor count? Vanguard00
Re: Mystic Superheroes I'm nitpicking, I know, but it's "Damian Hellstrom" aka "Son of Satan" aka "Hellstorm". Also, for Marvel: Gargoyle Clea I hope this doesn't burst your bubble (cuz I really do appreciate your efforts), but I was browsin' around and found a whole list of mystic heroes from a variety of comic publishers. Note that the list includes anyone associated with magic or the supernatural and not just magic-wielding heroes. http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Dungeon/2864/Super_Magic.html
Bloodstone
Re: Mystic Superheroes Brother Voodoo (Does Scarlet witch count?) Agatha Harkness, I think. Madame Web? The Scarlet Witch now officaly never had any magical powers. Her "Chaos Magic" was just her mutant Hex power, which has now been retconned from warping probablility fields to altering the very fabric of reality itself... Madame Web is a powerful psychic, but I don't think her powers are mystical in origin. Agatha Harkness is dead, but was a mystic prior ot that... Yes because there is no such thing as "Chaos Magic" acording to Dr. Strange...So my only question is what was he using during thelate 90's? You know when all his patrons left him and he had to find a new source...Could have SWORN it was called Chaos Magic...Go figure

Stone
Re: Mystic Superheroes Blue Devil Ok, I admit it has been many many years since I read this comic, but I could swear this character's origin was a stuntman trapped in a suit that amped his strength and agility?
