Snake Gandhi
Re: DC's Best "Bricks" Kalibak, who I think was voiced by Michael Dorn in JLU. Yep, thats him. Loved they confrontation he had with Lobo in "Hereafter". Lobo had just dropped a car on him, and as Lobo was walking through the explosion Kalibak tossed the car off and got up. Kalibak: I will kill you for that. Lobo: Pretty tough talk for a dead man. Kalibak: I'm not dead yet! Lobo: Oh right, my watch is about 10 seconds fast. Enforcer84
Re: DC's Best "Bricks" Is he in the books? I've seen him on the Titans cartoon, but couldn't recall a book appearance. I had hopes for Blockbuster, but really neither does anything for me. Lenny. Lenny Darkseid. I believe he was in an issue of Guy Gardner, Warrior after guy became that living weapon thing. He and Steel were fighting this guy in a Juggernaut like suit sans helmet. It was green I think. He had gray hair in a buzz cut. DOn't recall his name now... Lord Mhoram
Re: DC's Best "Bricks" Hmmmmmmmmmmm......... DC doesn't really do pure bricks Well a brick's Schtick is Strength, and in a world with Superman, that one is pretty much taken, so really what is the point. Kirby
Re: DC's Best "Bricks" Using these criteria, what would your list for DC be? I find it hard to include people like Superman and Martian Manhunter, since they are even more "impure" than Thor from the Marvel side. Captain Marvel is probably as impure as I'd like to go. (Alas, since I personally identify Superman as personifying Strength) In no particular order: Captain Marvel (and by extension, the Marvel Family) Big Barda (or Knockout) Wonder Woman Mongul Power Girl (non-Kryptonian version) Solomon Grundy Atom Smasher Orion Keith "Equal Opportunist" Curtis As noted previously, DC tends to have multi-talented ("impure" is such an IHA word ) "bricks" as opposed to "solely a brick." The sole bricks I would include: Kalibak (I think he's the greatest brick) Captain Marvel, Black Adam (the rest of the Marvel family are just clones) Big Barda, Lashina (in her "Duchess" guise in Suicide Squad) The rest, in no particular order: Orion Solomon Grundy Gorilla Grodd (c'mon, he's an ape!) Lobo (he was great when he came out, but then they just overused him) The mutli-talented bricks that I would leave out would be: Superman, Valor/Mon El, Supergirl, Superboy, supercousins, superpets, superkids, Bizarro, etc. Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, B.I.O.N., Captain Atom, The Atom (Golden Age, I believe) Hmm, that's all I can think of now, though I was sure I had more in my head.
