Japanese. There's some English.

 

BTW -- based on a tombstone seen in the manga, it seems to be 1991 or so, but I'm not sure. Volume 6 shows Greenback Jane and the return (or sorts) of Roberta. The anime showed many of the stories out of order it seems (probably to create a better narrative for the 24 episodes).

I'm honestly not sure he needs a writeup. Basic normal human level stats. Above average intelligence and presence. Possibly ego as well. Usual corporate perks and contacts. As well as some contacts with merc groups. He only appears briefly, so most of a write up would be pure conjecture.

 

I rather like that character. He didn't seem to be totally evil and admitted that if he was in charge that illegal deal would not have been made. But since he's not in charge yet, he's going to do whatever is needed to keep the company on top until he takes over.

I'm not intending on writing the character up. He only appears a few times and is best represented by a normal human template, a corporate package deal, and relevant Psychological Limitations.

 

I'm also sorry to say that work on BL HERO has been on hold for various reasons. I'm going to try and do a little today, though, but continued work will be only sporadic for the next few weeks (until I get free weekends again).

While doing the laundry, I started entering more characters into HERO Designer. I also turned on the settings for TUSkill and other Ultimate books, thus making building a few BL characters that much easier.

Designer's Notes:

Hansel and Gretel, the vampire twins, have to be two of the most disturbing characters I've ever encountered in any media. They are true sociopaths, having little to no compassion for others (as well as an unhealthy attraction to each other), and will gladly kill, dismember, and torture virtually anyone merely for the sheer joy of it. Thus, any GM really needs to carefully consider if introducing such characters is something his campaign and players can handle. Partially due to the twins' sheer evilness and partially due to the fact the twins aren't grown people, but roughly 10 year-old children. The twins aren't redeemable (not any more), and odds are the only choice any PCs in a Dark Champions game will have when dealing with them will involve bullets and blood. By the same token, any GM who choses to use Hansel and Gretel in his game needs to resist any temptation to give the twins' a "lighter" side. They should be presented as the frightening, death-dealing monsters they really are, who combine almost angelic looks and manners with a virtually demonic thirst for blood and pain.

Mostly anime related.

 

I'm working on a Paladin Alexander Anderson manga write up for Hellsing. I've been considering his bayonet flurry attacks and wondering if Autofire is the best way to handle them. He never seems to miss, so when he throws 10 bayonets all ten will hit. Which almost sounds like a special effect of a ranged killing attack. I'm still debating this though, and would like some additional input.

If he never misses you could make it an area effect (cone or line). Give it a really large damage value with a limitation stating that the damage must be broken into Xd6 increments and divided among targets inside the area of effect. I'd probably give something like that a -1/4 or even -0 limitation.

Hmm..I was a little careless in the wording. I'm mainly referring to the auto fire and that we never see just some of the blades hit. When he uses it, they all seem to hit.

 

He'll get a couple of area affect attacks as well, like his Explosive Guidance Chain, as well as his basic long bayonet hand to hand attack.
