Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Here's some more of The Arc's Uberworld characters done in F2011 format --

starting with E. Bunny:

And no, I don't think that the "E" in his name stands for either Easter or

Everready...unless, of course, it means being ever ready to be up to no

good (:eg:).

Lady Nightshade, leader of the Gunsen Corporation's zombie ninjas:

Lady Nightshade (her true name is unknown at this time) has been

altered by an experimental form of the process which created their

force of zombie ninjas. Not only has she retained her intelligence in

its entirety, she has also retained her beauty as well. While her skin

does have the same discolored appearance as that of Gunsen's other

zombie ninjas, it isn't decaying at all. Indeed, those men who have

encountered her -- and lived to speak of it -- have unanimously

described her as being "beautiful in a creepy sort of way". The only

outward signs of Lady Nightshade's difference from the undead war-

riors she commands are her amber-colored eyes, and the fact that

she has no smell of decay hanging about her (unlike the "normal"

zombie ninjas, whose odor of decayed flesh tends to give away

their presence -- unless measures have been taken to conceal it).

Lady Nightshade is a mistress of both armed and unarmed combat,

and is rarely seen without her weapons: a naginata which has been

modified with the addition of a spear point at the other end, allow-

ing her to use it for both slashing and thrusting attacks; a pair of

sais, which she uses both as stabbing weapons and as a way to dis-

arm her opponents, and a pair of wakizashi swords -- and those

are just the visible weapons. She is also -- as has been traditional

for kunoichi since feudal times -- a mistress of seduction, in spite

of her macabre appearance (her masters within the corporation

have speculated that the process that they used to create her may

have given her a pheromone-based ability to influence men in the

way that she can).

Identifying quote: "It isn't a case of the men who find me attractive being

necrophiliacs, as it is a case of me being a vivi-philiac."

Pink battlesuits are a sign of Chaos:

You know... it'd take some serious chutzpah (and a size XXL pair of brass ones)

to actually use those in a WH40K game.

Of course, there may be special rules for the use of such figs -- like, say, that

friendly forces are stunned with disbelief for X number of turns after first see-

ing pink-armored Chaos Space Marines charging toward them.

You laugh. Until they add some red with the blood of your regiment.

Also, pink/light red is not only a common color for the chaos:

One of the chaos legions actually had pinkt armor (before defenctign to chaos):

Looks red and purple to me, except the one drawing of the space marine that looks like it was done with colored pencils.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

There was a whole thread full of those a few months back, IIRC. A fun time was had by all.

You know, I'd managed to forget all about that particular thread -- especially

with the pics of Darth Vader in pink armor and the Hello Kitty suit -- and then

you had to remind us of it.

Curse you, Xavier Onassiss! Curse you to the darkest four-color pits of Cartoon

Hell!

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

After looking at that particular HM3 pic, I had to admit it wasn't one of my better efforts. Since I did that one (I don't know how many months ago) I've learned quite a lot more about using HM3, so I decided to have another go at it, with (IMHO) much improved results.

The actual character concept remains as horrible as ever, of course, but it's the execution I'm concerned with, ya know? Anyways, if seeing an upgraded version of the chick with pink hair wearing a pink battlesuit doesn't interest you, do NOT open the following spoiler....

Welcome to Cartoon Hell. How many in your party?

This character has no name. Won't somebody please help her?
