This one's written by Rupert Holmes, who had a hit later with "Escape (the Pina Colada Song)". The Buoys had received a one-song contract with no promotion from their record company. Holmes and the Buoys decided to make a song that was certain to get banned and therefore generate its own publicity. (I have been unsuccessful in finding that.)
