Pariah
To me, Swedish pop music first and foremost means ABBA. They owned the airwaves in the 70s. So, here are three great ABBA songs: "Dancing Queen" "Voulez-Vous" Bazza
Pariah
And one featuring Benny and Bjorn: "Does Your Mother Know" Bazza
Pariah
And then there's the Swedish pop music from my (early) college years . . . Roxette! "Dangerous" "Listen To Your Heart" Bazza
Pariah
More Roxette: "Joyride" And who can forget the anthem from Pretty Woman, "It Mush Have Been Love" Bazza
Pariah
But back to Benny and Bjorn for a moment. They collaborated with Tim Rice once upon a time to write a musical: Chess. Here are three songs from that. "Quartet (A Model of Decorum and Tranquility)" "I Know Him So Well" featuring Barbara Dickson And Elaine Paige https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INRodHBcpII

Bazza
Three Roxette songs from Room Service Roxette - Jefferson Roxette - Looking for Jane Roxette - My World, My Love, My Life None of these were released as singles, but they are wonderful songs. Jefferson and Looking for Jane remind me of other Roxette rockers, like Dangerous, Joyride, Fireworks, Sleeping in My Car, 7 Twenty 7, and She's Got Nothing Nothing On (But The Radio). Bazza
You pick Dum Dum Diddle over Tiger ? Yes, I like Dum Dum Diddle's nursery rhyme-like nonsense. Tiger is good, but there are others i like better, e.g. My Love, My Life.
BoneDaddy
And of course the one everyone knows, "One Night in Bangkok" featuring Murray Head Rupert Giles older brother.
