    Wanted!

Re: Wanted! Problem would be getting a GM for it. The world looks like the "problem players" dream come true. It reminds me of a superherogame run by the knight of the dinnertable group. "Are you sure you want to kill all the people in the police station Bob?" "Hell yeah! They did not make a path! I waste them with my Colt45!"
  3. Re: Musings on Random Musings It is not about being Marco Polo it is about not being compared. That is why some men like lesbians too. It is all about control.

    Wanted!

Re: Wanted! Okay I understand now, thought you wanted to play it out with the Pc's as the main characters in the comic. All evil and stuff

    Wanted!

Re: Wanted! I got to admit that I never thought in the lines of the killer having the power to dispel other supers armour. The reason was because he just shot ordinary people the same way, so it looked similar. As for it being a campaign idea, the problem I can see is how do you challenge characters who already control the world?
  6. Re: Rifts HERO? It's smart to write the missiles up as venchiles so they act more like missiles.
  7. Re: Musings on Random Musings There are no spoons...
  8. Re: Help Needed Completing a character build it as a multipower have seperate special effectss for each elemtal attack.
  9. Re: Rifts HERO? Actually allthough I would like too I do not run a campain based in the Rifts world. I just use part of it for my own sci-fi-campain, Prosek is an Emperor of an planet for example. The old style dead boys make good evil empire grunts. The new style dead boys are from the allied planet Stark equally evil. I agree the art is real good.
  10. Re: Rifts HERO? It is the players in my campain who will "benefit" How about the glitterboy killer bot? Or one samas variant?
  11. Re: Hero System: Anime You could use the spirit frisbe as an killing attack only vs spirits. The human who is possesed and left behind when the spirit "dies" is affected by the spirits power.
  12. Re: Musings on Random Musings I get it. Like blond hair.
  13. Re: Musings on Random Musings I just thought he wanted to be a woman since he is a transvestite (spelling?). If the avatar is the same girl.. Maybe we should ask him before jumping to conclusions. Why don't you do it Zornwill?
  14. Re: Musings on Random Musings So are the abilitiy to cast spells and stuff are not based on the family tree in the potterverse?
  15. Re: basic permanent stats Also in my example above I meant that the thugs were built on equal point in both instances.
  16. Re: basic permanent stats Well I originality can be acomplished with background and personality. I was only thinking in pure game terms, you know things that are influenced by the stats the most. Off course a personality can be interesting no matter what point it is built on. I meant in game, dice roll for dice roll.
  17. Re: Glitter Boy for 34 points- is that sick? Lensman wrote up an metallic dude in the rifts hero thread.
  18. Re: Rifts HERO "Glitter boy" Exellent! You have an eye for detail and you are not going overboard.
  19. Re: A Thread for Random Musings What is mudblood anyway?
  20. Re: Thoughts on Dr Yin Wu For the sons I just gave each son plus one hth skill levels for each additional son in the combat. Or was it two?
  21. Re: basic permanent stats I see you point. But think of it this way. Two character concepts will go through one adventure, in this adventure they will face two fights. One where they are attacked by unarmed thugs and they don't have guns themselves and one combat where they have guns and are attacked by armed thugs. The two characters are built as combat specialists one with martial arts and the other with guns. Lets imagine that they are built on 75 point base with 75 points of disadvantages. The martial artist takes plenty of martial art maneuvers, buys up his speed and pd, increase his str and con and takes talents that help him in fights. The gun guy buys up his dex and int, takes skill levels with pistols, buy himself talent to fire two guns at once, buy max allowed skill levels for beginning characters with his guns and takes extra skill levels only to counter hit location penalties. Now they are in the adventure and as you might expect the martial artist kicks *** in the first combat and the gun wielder in the next one. What I am saying is: If they were built on lower points the amount of asskicking they would deal out in the different combats would be much closer to each other, even though they might fight thugs built on lower point totals. Do you understand what I mean? They might look different on the paper but in "actual" combat they would be quite equal.
