When I worked in San Francisco, employers had to grant 1 hour of sick pay to employees, even part-time ones, per 30 hours worked. I don't think that law exists in San Bruno.

I enjoy running/playing in historical games. I don't need magic or monsters anymore. NPCs and maybe PCs would believe in them, though. Unfortunately, I don't think my players are interested in historical games, so I'd have to run such a setting for another group.
