Last night my kiddo baked chocolate chip cookies for my wife and I AFTER she cooked us dinner.
 
And the Insta-Flow I bought cleared the clogged sink in about 2 minutes.
 
Topped the day off playing The Outer Worlds.  Great stuff.

There is another tactical reason for bladed weapons in technological battle: silence. No report, no flare, no warning the comrades of your target. Perfect for stealth kills.
 
Of course the modern tools of war are more knives than swords. Then again, some large knives still in use in combat, like the Gurkha kukri, are practically short swords.

In Joe Haldenman's 1974 novel The Forever War both humans and aliens developed a stasis field which prevented the use of technological weapons.  Both sides because using low tech weapons like pikes, javelins, and swords in the field instead.

During the drive home yesterday: on a light standard at midspan on the I-5 bridge ... a peregrine falcon was perched, watching and waiting....

I was going through my old collection of GURPS Traveller starship sourcebooks and I noticed they included hex-based deckplans in addition to the square-grid ones.
 
Given the lack of existing deckplans for Star Hero, these could be a valuable resource and an excellent companion to Traveller HERO.  Here is a sample Free Trader deckplan:

I've had a similar problem, although I never took any medication for it. My condition wasn't as serious, though. Best wishes.

One of my colleagues has just returned from Hong Kong, and his view of the protesters is different from that of the western press. He said the protesters have trashed businesses and banks that are based in China. They break into the stores and destroy the merchandise (they claim not to steal anything). Keep in mind the workers in the stores and banks are Hong Kong natives. They also trash the subway every day. My colleague likened the protesters' attitude to that of the Third Reich in that they are racist towards their own people.
