We had 24 at Grandma's house for Thanksgiving:
 
Grandma (obviously)
 
Two of Grandma's brothers, one with his wife

* Their oldest son and his boyfriend;
 
* Their middle son who returned from a two-year LDS mission that very day; and

Two family friends at BYU who had no family nearby
 
There was food in abundance, lots of stories and memories shared, and no drama. It was a good night.

"Red Rump" seems not to have the association with horror that the very similar "Red Rum" does.  Unless, of course, you are horrified by the sort of literature in which "Red Rump" might figure prominently, which actually seems reasonable.

If I ever get the chance, I definitely want to expand a bit on Chaos Blades -- how the setting and its magic works and whatnot. Not a full book or anything like that, more like an article. Or a chapter in a larger book.

I had a dream the other night combining a really extensive school library and globe-trotting adventure in search of the recently-arisen ocean tomb of a not-really-dead Chthulhoid monster. And railroads, for some incongruous reason.
