PREDATOR: DARK AGES is a short (27 minute) film set in medieval Europe, involving the alien hunter character from the "Predator" movie series. Very high quality for a short.

If reasonable I will agree with his policies.  I will support his policies.  I will fight for his policies.  If successful I will praise his policies.

I will never agree with, support, praise, or fight for him as a human being.  There aren't enough inner cities schools in the world he could build, or press conference apologies saying 'I was just kidding', to make me forget or forgive the things he's said.

    Looks like around half?

As a Californian who sees Donald Trump as an existential threat to aspects of the nation I hold dear, like equality and respect for people of different race or gender, I get it. Even joke about extending the wall (which I still don't believe will be built).

But don't be stupid, California is going nowhere. I wouldn't want to abandon my country to these people. And the country would crater financially.

We will just find ourselves fighting and litigating on the states rights side again. And being obstructionist on policy implementation. Honestly folks are already talking strategy for things like deconstructing the ACA (putting in place state laws that mirror it) and so forth. If the feds don't want to enforce it, fine, we can do it as a state. And insurance companies that want to do business in California can conform to the state regulations. Works for the auto industry and so forth. Unpleasant, but seems necessary. Likewise environmental impact studies and litigation around "the wall". Drag it out as long as possible, fight for every inch.

This week we will see a lot of emotional response. Behind the scenes folks are digging in for the long haul.

Coming together under President Trump? Yeah, that was never really an option. I suspect he'll put forward legislation that passes, some of it I might like. Most I'll likely be disturbed by. And some, I assume, will be appalling. Will be interesting to see what the Dems can block. They will certainly try, and they should.

Politics has been called "the art of compromise", "the art of persuasion", and "the art of the possible". It's also been said that "Laws, like sausages, cease to inspire respect in proportion as we know how they are made." Functional multiparty democratic governance is completely dependent upon good faith and fair dealing between the parties. Without it, things gradually deteriorate and fall apart.

Kubo and the Two Strings. An utterly amazing film of enormous artistry and humanity. Although you can see some of its influences, it creates something beautiful and unique. I took my mother to see it and she was enthralled and left in awe.

Not to mention that a significant number of things termed "mental illness" actually have evolutionary purposes and may even provide advantages to the individual. Just not, generally, in the social sphere.

Eugenics would have happily wiped out those on the autistic spectrum. This would have a decidedly negative effect on the species.

The people with no sympathy for mental illness are the people who think they never had it. Note that I didn't say, "never actually had it."

Strength is irrelevant. The strongest people in the world will break if you apply enough pressure to their particular vulnerable spot (and everyone has at least one). Those who don't believe that have been lucky enough not to have experienced it yet.

For the record, Audie Murphy, the most decorated US soldier of all time and the closest we've ever come to Captain America IRL, suffered from PTSD. Being "stronger" has nothing to do with susceptibility to PTSD.
