This guy is so crazy and awesome that he flips out ALL the time. I heard that Belkar was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon Belkar killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw Belkar totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window. And that's what I call REAL Ultimate Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey folks! I'm writing up a Steampunky adventure for publication and I need someone to take a look at it and see if there are any giant, glaring holes that should be filled. I'd like someone to read it with a GM's eye, mostly to tell me if this is an adventure that they could run. What parts need fleshing out, what parts need to be re-written, what things are missing. I'm not worried about stats at the moment (in fact, I haven't even written most of the stats up yet). Just want to know about flow and playability. Any volunteers? Thanks!

Re: Civilians Miniatures? At one point, I picked up a bunch of Vampire:The Masquerade, Mage:The Ascension, and Werewolf:The WhateverItIsWerewolvesDo minis from a store going out of business. Those make great modern civvie figures, and I got 'em cheap (like a buck apiece). A couple of them I had to cut the gun out of their hand, but that was a fairly easy mod. I think they were originally made by Ral Partha, so you might still be able to find them on the Iron Wind Metals site or on Ebay.

Re: Cursed dice I have a set of d6 known as "The Dice of Shame." Whenever someone forgets their dice, they are required to use the Dice of Shame. The Dice of Shame are hideous to look upon -- bright schoolbus yellow with these sort of dark blue, not quite black pips. Also, they tend not to roll very well, regardless of who is using them. Once you use the Dice of Shame, you never forget your dice at home again.

Re: Musings on Random Musings The exterminator came around yesterday. He said that he could put out live traps, but that he'd have to come back and check them every day (and therefore charge us). So he put out a couple of snap traps and a couple of "mouse hotels". This morning, we found Mickey in one of the snap traps, dead. I had a dream last night that the mouse had been caught in one of the mouse hotels. I picked it up and was going to take it to the dumpster, but the mouse was still alive and was trying to get out. It kept poking its head out and I kept bonking it on the head to force it back inside. I got out to the dumpster and tossed it in, but the mouse was getting out -- and I knew it would just go right back into the office again. So I picked up the mouse and was going to throw it over the fence. But it latched onto my hand so when I threw it, it didn't go very far. Shed no tears for the ebil dream mouse!

Re: Cursed dice Not my story, but I was witness to it. One evening, my buddy's dice were just killing him. He couldn't roll well to save his life, and he just got more and more frustrated. Eventually, he wandered into my kitchen. He came back a few minutes later and we resumed gaming. The next morning, I got up and was getting my breakfast ready. I opened up the microwave, and there in the center were my buddy's dice. He didn't nuke them or anything; he just put them in there and forgot about them. They seem to roll OK for me.
