Are the local heroes reliably outgunning your mooks?  Do your minions need top-notch, close-range firepower in a small, light package?  If so, then Fostech Arms has what you've been looking for!  Today we bring you the Origin-12 short-barreled shotgun --  an AK-patterned shotty that is reputedly the fastest cycling semi-automatic combat shotgun on the market, to date.  Equipped standard with a folding stock and optional 20-round or 30-round drums, no one will be outrunning the wall of lead put up by your trusty lieutenants and their subordinates packing Origin-12's.  At US$2,900.00 per unit, it's a real bargain that's guaranteed to deter Johnny Hero from interfering with your plans for world domination.

Don't let your men be outclassed, again.  Consider Fostech Arms' Origin-12 -- for all of your high speed scattergun needs.

Baba Yaga isn't a stealthy monster stalking you from the shadows.

Baba Yaga is an unstoppable force that will ruin everything you hold dear and leave you either dead or wishing to be dead. People discuss her in whispers at night because they're afraid that if they talk too loudly they'll wake up to see her outside their front door in the morning.

I'm not exactly a lurker but...

My current Handle was the name of one of my World of Warcraft Characters, a goblin mage. Lately I use it all over the net (including on the paizo forums and Steam). A cantrip is a mischevious or playful act, or a trick; in gaming parlance a cantrip is a weak or minor spell. I misspell it's past-tense on purpose because I like the way it looks as "cantriped" better than "cantripped".

The first tabletop RPG I played was a mix of 1st and 2nd edition AD&D, and I was 4 years old when I rolled that character; my mother was the GM at that table.

The first tabletop RPG I ran as GM was 3rd edition D&D.

I am not currently playing in any games (the last game I played in was a pathfinder campaign). I am currently running a Pathfinder campaign, but I have run a few HERO campaigns as well over the years.

The HERO System has been my favorite gaming system for almost a decade now. I currently use the Champions Complete/Fantasy HERO Complete rulesets (which I consider to be as distinct an edition as 5th revised was to 5th). You will most frequently see my name show up in threads regarding rules questions or character building. One of my hobbies is writing up characters and concepts from the shows I watch in HERO system.

How did you come up with your 'handle' (forum name)?
Well to tell the truth, I have no idee, it was created when I wanted to.pla an online game and evry single.name that I chose was taken and so I just constructed.a.random name and this is what I came up with, I must say though that my favourite number is the number 25.

What was the first tabletop RPG you played?
The first and only tabletop RPG I ever played was D&D, me and a couple of friends started playing it about a year ago and it went on for about a year after which the gang broke up because no one wanted to GM and we did not completely understand everything.

What was the first tabletop RPG you GMed?
I have not yet Gmed a tabletop RPG, but that is why I am here, I want to learn more about the hero system to be able to gm my own game with some friends.

    What are you currently playing/GMing
    Unfortunately not.

How did I come up with my handle?  My favourite champions character is called "Silver Paladin" (basically a British version of Tony Stark/Iron Man) - swapped round and using the chemical symbol/latin for Silver.
First RPG played?  D&D just after going to grammar school.  Haven't played D&D in a loooong time.
First RPG you GM'd?  Traveller with LBB.  Still do Traveller off and on.  Wrote a fair amount and reviewed a lot else for the first version of Mongoose Traveller.  I didn't actually start playing Champions until I was at uni.
What are you currently playing?  Coming back to RPG (and Champions) after organising and running a re-fight of the Battle of Jutland for the Museum of the Royal Navy.

How did you come up with your 'handle' (forum name)?
Its the first initial of my first name and my last name.  I gave up on coming up with cute login names about 10-15 years ago.

What was the first tabletop RPG you played?
AD&D 1980.  There were only three RPGs I could find at the store at that time.  D&D, V&V, and Gamma World.

What was the first tabletop RPG you GMed?
V&V, the players investigated a downed ship on Mars.  They were torturing a guy who didn't know anything who worked for the bad guys and accidentally killed him.  Then they pplayed around with the spaceship on Mars and fire a wave motion cannon scarring the face of Mars.

    What are you currently playing/GMing?
Pathfinder, Shadowrun 5th, and Champions 6th

I'm pretty sure those shotty rounds would penetrate your wallet and wound your bank account during procurement...

I've been desirous of a Kel-Tec KSG shotty since they came out in 2011.  However, every time I contemplate the purchase I get hung up on it being a pump action.  In that tiny form factor I'd really rather have a semi-auto.  I've eyeballed all the bullpup shotguns that have come out, so far and none has really made me go 'mmm, gotta have it!'

I like the UTS-15's ability to alternate feed tubes,as well as the ease of doing an 'empty check', but the gun is massive and feeds unreliably.  I like the Six-12's rapid reload capability but virtually nothing else about it.  I like the KSG's form factor but it's painful to reload and to 'empty check'.  There's nothing I like at all about the DP-12, as it is unnecessarily heavy (due to twin barrels) and the pump-once/fire-twice shooting cadence is strange when you have built the pump/fire muscle memory cadence required of most pump shotguns.

So what's that leave me?  Well, the Uzkon UNG-12 looks REALLY promising.

Semi-automatic.  Bullpup form factor.  Takes Adkal-style box magazines. (Up to 20 rounds!)  7QD sling ports. ~US$800 to 1000 initial price point (just as the KSG was).  Available soon...

    What's not to like???

    I'd go with:

    Man of Steel (1986)
    Superman for All Seasons (1998)
What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way (2001)
Secret Identity (2004 - technically am Elseworlds but really good)
    Kingdom Come (1996)

All are really enjoyable. "What's so funny" is the story featuring the Elite that is essentially a response to the Authority comic series (and was in my opinion brilliant).

There are others, "What ever happened to the Man of Tomorrow?", "All Star Superman", etc. Lots of really interesting stories in the last thirty years or so. That isn't even getting into the Justice League or World's Finest or Batman/Superman. But I like all the ones I listed.

Top ten all-time joke from Big Bang Theory:

Raj: I like Green Lantern, I'm just saying it's pretty lame that he can be defeated by the color yellow.
Sheldon: Only the modern Green Lantern is vulnerable to yellow.
Leonard: Golden Age Green Lantern was vulnerable to wood.
Raj: Great. So I can take them both out with a number 2 pencil?

Bullpup triggers always suffer some (in terms of trigger weight and length of pull) due to the sheer length of their mechanisms.  I could see the Steyr's trigger being mushy if it had too much takeup; my Bushmaster M17S felt what I would call 'mushy', as well, until I did some smithing to reduce the takeup ... and shave 2lbs from the trigger weight.  Now it's not half bad ... but a match trigger it absolutely isn't.  Anyone expecting more than a combat trigger from a bullpup -- really doesn't have reasonable expectations.

According to some friends of mine who spent time in the Australian Army, including one who was there when they changed over to the AusSteyr (modded Steyr AUG), the difference is tangible, but easy to overcome with instruction and practice. That said, the one who was in at the changeover was unimpressed, especially with the trigger, which he described as "mushy".

I bring you the gen2 Kel-Tec RFB in FDE.  Chambered in 7.62mm NATO (aka .308) with an 18" barrel, 1:11.25" twist, adjustable gas system, and OAL of 26"...

I brought one home today.  This thing is amazingly compact/light for a .308.  The trigger is also surprisingly crisp for a bullpup -- given how long some of the parts in the trigger assembly have to be in bullpups.  It is by no means pretty, but it's very, very functional.
