Re: Iconic Characters: the Justice Squadron Thats why I have suggested maybe the best way to go is to do a superhero team like the Justice Squadron like an organisation book such as Demon or Until. Have their full history and background, all memebers from beginning to present day plus supporting characters. Then maps for bases and vehicles. Then go to the teams rogues gallery both as a team and for individual members. Then lastly plenty of plot seeds and adventure hooks. Could be a great series of books in my opinion. Rgds Torch

Tying the previous 2 posts together would love to see a behind the screen schemer type of mastermind, weak physically but a spider in the middle of a web, then turned into a powerhouse but unstable ala Marvel's Count Nefaria. Always one of my fav characters especially the transformation using the powers of the Whirlwind/Power Man/Living laser. Classic stuff Torch

Echo previous posters as to why the 4 color CU does not appear in Hudson City and extensive options and sidebars to have it interact more if the GM wishes to. The Underworld - ensure it is extensive, murky and complex. Would love to see maps of the "turf" controlled by different gang elements and nationalities such as which mafia families control which district, where are the Russians making inroads, neutral areas etc. Weird Stuff - Conspiracy rumours, supernatural strangeness, and just out of left field weird. Don't forget (continuing the Thing analogy) this change IF it works does not have to be either stable or perminent. I have lost count how many times Reed has seemingly found a cure for Ben but it has not lasted for whatever scientific reason. Do the same, have it work but he still reverts back, whenever the story needs him to. rgds Torch

Re: Galactic Champions Word Great book, one of the best champs books out for a while and that is praise indeed. Would love DOJ to establish an explanation or way to use the time stream a lot easier so I could make more use of all this cool material from Glactic Champs, Star Hero, Fantasy Hero etc. Especially as they have gone to so much trouble to put them together in one timeline. rgds Torch

Re: High End Cannoical Character in Champions Universe To get back to the original thread I think the CU BADLY needs some more iconic heroes. Part of the reason i love Freedom City so much is that the setting feels quite complete with great and powerful villains and heroes. Hopefully when we see a more modern version of the Sentinals and the Justice Squadron this will be solved. Really we have seen so little of the CU hero teams so far its very hard to speculate. rgds Torch

Hi guys, just wanted to see what upcoming Champs products everyone is looking foward to and why. My answer is "Hidden Lands" and "Demon" both should really expand the universe in some intresting directions. Demon has always been one of my favourite parts of the CU and i cant wait to see them get the "Viper" treatment they have always deserved. Hidden Lands is something I really cant wait for, I just love the Marvel Universe feel of the Inhumans/Eternals. Hopefully they will do a book on CU gods and pantheons down the pike as well. Re: Why not start a thread on revised editions of your old favorites? Yep, agreed they were great. Sort of like the Inhumans family like structure but scattered to the four corners of the earth. Only problem is they were Aaron Allston characters so may be unable to be reproduced to to copyright. Rgds Torch

Re: Whatever happened to the Wyvern? Got to agree with the Golden Age Champs bing silly, they were and it was not helped by awful art making them look even more silly lol. I actually really liked lots of the members of the Soviet team esepcially as many of them very really villainous. Which was a sign of the times in comics and real life. Some of those guys are excellent villains. rgds Torch

Re: What Gold/Silver/Iron Age story or series do you love? From the Silver/Bronze age the Avengers have always been my favourite book. Something about the hybrid Family/Military feel of the book which i love. Also the Villains such as Ultron, Kang, Graviton etc. My favourite period is the Engelhart/Shooter era of the late seventies early eighties. Some simply amazing stuff there. rgds Torch

Re: Champs Universe Question Super Soldier programs are also required as they are so much fun! Many plot possibilities can be gleaned, especially from super soldier programs from less moral nations in the CU. Maybe we will see something to this effect in Champions Worldwide. rgds Torch

Re: Dark Champions Campaigns I have run for the last 5 years or so monthly a weird conspiracy game taking lots of elements from Conspiracy X, Dark Matter and Delta Green. I have two players who work for Aegis (secret organisation working covertly within the US goverment departments) and they have come across Alien, Greys, Atlanteans, Saurians and Mecha, stopped the Black Book (the evil bad guy organisation within the us goverment) mutating sharks (think deep blue sea on speed), opening gates to terrible cthulu like dimensions with laser technology, fighting ghosts, incarnate serial killers, and lots lots more. They have currently been transported to a parallel world where they are trying to come to terms with a world full of zombies and are now scrambling around trying to find petrol and drinking water without becoming zombie chow. The great thing about that genre is literally anything is possible. rgds Torch

Re: Will DC cover the X Files Weird Conspiracy Genre? The holy trinity of gaming material in this genre are for me Delta Green, Conspiracy X and Dark Matter. Each has amazing elements that i have used over the years in my campaign. rgds Torch
