Re: Don't be a hater! I'm sorry for posting something that isn't related to this thread but I think the entire thread has run its course. I just looked at a few responses between two board members. The exchange reminded me of the exchange between Luke and the Emperor in Return of the Jedi. You know, "Faith in your friends is your weakness..." I am not trying to start anything. I just thought the exchange was familiar. Maybe I am just weird. Now, who is the Emperor and who is Luke?

Re: STUN/BODY reach 0 When a knocked out (STUN at zero or below) character recovers (STUN > 0) then teh character's END is equal to his current STUN. Check out page 411 of reFred or 5ER if u will, under the heading Knockout.

Re: Too much tweaking? Too powerful? Why not? I have a guy playing a super-powered version of The Hurricane from WWE. This Hurricane recieved his powers from some radioactive chemical that he got messed up in while wrestling in Japan (I don't have the the character sheet handy so that is short version of his origin). He has the TV celebrity disadvantages and Foxbat is the President of The Hurricane Fan Club. I put this as a Hunted, Watched. I can't wait to run the adventure where The Hurricane meets Foxbat!

Re: You can't possibly be!! The Flash is some old, fat, balding fellow who wears a trench coat and dress shoes. His only power is a massive Sight Group Flash that only works when he opens his trench coat up. or The Flash comes back with electrical based powers.

Re: Trying to make an attack that forces dex roll Guys, reference page 90 of Fred, Change Environment is the power that you want. Check out the Ice Sheet example in the second column on page 90. The GM would rule whether or not moving across the marbles would cause a DEX roll. The Ice Sheet example is exactly like the Canister of Marbles. Change the name to Canister of Marbles: Change Environment (see page 90 for rest of stuff) then add OAF(Cansiter of Marbles, -1).

Re: 2006 Schedule Blurbs If the book is for Champions or closely related to Champions then I will probably buy it. Other books, I am not so sure about but I take them on a case by case basis. I would probably by the Fantasy Hero stuff because I have refused to purchase anymore d20 books, no matter what and I was impressed by 3.0/3.5.

Re: Knockback on Coordinated Attacks Personally, I would use common sense. If knockbock occurs from the same general direction then you can a). add the two values together or . take the highest value and use that. Just be consistent. Once you choose how you are going to do it then stick with that throughout the campaign. I would use a. If knockback occurs from opposite directions then subtract the smaller value from the higher value and the target is propelled the difference in hexes and in the direction the higher value knockback occurred. ex: Hero A and Hero B coordinate to attack Villain C. Hero A is in front of the the Villain and Hero B is behind the Villain. Hero A does 8" knockback and Hero B does 3" knockback. The villain will fly backwards 5" and may or may not hit Hero B.

Re: An odd question Personally, I would not take out Nations, Dictators or fight famine. I would just take out everyone that I feel has done something stupid. I get to define Stupid too, my powers would see to it. On second thought, screw it, I would be too lonely if I take out all the stupid people. I'd just fly to work and play World of Warcraft in my spare time.

Re: Taunt Taunt, in most MMOGs, causes the target to attack the taunter. Usually the taunter is a tank (brick). a limited Mind Control (attack taunter).
