  1. Re: Complicate the Person Above I have been told that Markus can blow his nose in 8 dimensions of time and space.
  2. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares I Was A Teenage Ultimate Avenger.
  3. Re: Chocolate in Pre-Columbian New Mexico Apart from Chocolate, any ideas what else came north? Art, religion, any big cultural links that show continuous communications?
  4. Re: Creatures from Skull Island Well.... yes. Of course it go more along the lines of;- "Having survived a savage attack by one of these demonic beasts, big game hunter Dirk Killgarde must forever keep his emotions in check and guard himself from the moons rays for, if he ever gets angry or sucumbs to the lunar light, he changes. He changes into a creature terrifying in its malevolent evil... He becomes The Werepanda!" "Yes, the Werepanda! Stalking and living off the blood of innocents! The Werepanda! Coming to a cinema near you soon! Starring Lon Chaney Jr., Akim Tamiroff and Tor Johnson as 'The Werepanda'".
  5. Re: Creatures from Skull Island Maybe I should have dumped this to a differnt thread, but what the hey. I was wandering around odd web sites, blog spots etal I came across this... a sort of Vampire attack Panda from a 1946 comic. Who said that panda's were cuddly creatures? http://thatsmyskull.blogspot.com/2008/07/dire-panda.html Mikey! One more for you... please
  6. Re: Complicate the Person Above Marcus is thought to have caused the Dutch Tulip Riots of the late 1700's after an inadvertant comment about hydroponics and the future of wind power in the low countries.
  7. Re: Complicate the Person Above Not many people know that Bazza suffers from a deep, traumatic fear of Julie Andrews. Just mentioning 'Mary Poppins' or 'The Sound of Music' can send him screaming from a room.
  8. Re: Complicate the Person Above Bazza once tried to sell me one of the 12 inch tall "Space Race" action dolls he was marketing. It said "Hi, my name's Buzz Aldrin!" and then it produced a sample of moon rock. I should have bought it.
  9. Re: Complicate the Person Above AH me, I remember when Bazza was just a Baz'... and we've all pledged not to mention that odd period when he called himself Bazzette.
  10. Re: Complicate the Person Above The problem with Bazza is that he's an over achiever. That comment about mountains out of molehills perfectly describes his work on the Swiss Alps. And you should see the size of his mole.
  11. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? 8.00am - the official first day of winter here on the Caspian and every woman or girl in the office has turned up wearing black high heeled boots... Life's been good to me - Joe Walsh
  12. Re: Complicate the Person Above cranialspasm was once considered for the position of Official Doxy In Waiting at the Court of St.James, but turned it down once the terms and conditions were fully explained.
  13. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat "A Centurion Tacitus Action play set - complete with spear, helmet and wooden cross. Warning, not suitable for children under the age of 12." NT: Things you'll never hear Nick Fury say.
  14. Re: Complicate the Person Above Bazza, as some sort of a tax write-off or maybe court ordered social service, once spent a week in Borneo teaching the finer points of needlepoint to cannibal headhunters. He has some amazing stories to tell.
  15. Re: Ways to limit my Utility Belt VPP? Yeah, he's appeared in a few set ups for Robin and Nightwing, even in a JLA issue. Just not many people get that the writers are leaving easter eggs.
  16. Re: Complicate the Person Above Oddly enough Lemuria went missing at about the same time as Atlantis. Rumours abound that death tribble was the last person to see it, but he refuses to talk. He just starts shaking and muttering about proto-shoggoths and the darkness.
  17. Re: Super Zeroes Jack Hye Touched by a mild case of sinesthesia, Jack can smell the color red. Consequently he never wears anything read and abhors any shade of red. He makes his living playing low stakes card games. Noted as a guy who has talent but never gets a lucky break in the gaming halls of Atlantic City and Vegas, he keeps his disability a secret. Hmmm. In the 'Wild Cards' series these people would all count as 'Dueces'.
  18. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Now The Hoople - Mott the Hoople. It's a glam rock day.
  19. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Mott - Mott the Hoople... The album, the whole album and nothing but the album! Why? Because of this; http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/rockandpopreviews/6254212/Mott-the-Hoople-Hammersmith-Apollo-review.html# Yes, Mott the Hoople, including an Alzhiemers afflicted Dale Griffen were back on stage. Old farts? Yes. Solid Rockers? Yes. Do I care that they're not young and hot? No.
  20. Re: Complicate the Person Above tkdguy, using the missing child posters on the sides of milk cartons, taught himself how to read. Which accounts for many, many things, none of them comforting.
  21. Re: Complicate the Person Above I remember filming that for Death tribble. He said he was considering backing an invasion movie and needed some 'idea' footage. (So the next time you see "Saving Private Ryan" remember that the whole opening 15 minutes is just a re-enactment of Marcus storming the beaches near Palawang). But apparently death tribble just couldn't raise the finance and had to pass it on to Spielbergs crew to make.
  22. Re: The Good, The Bad, and The Weird Magnificent film. Picked it up 2 R&R's back... so that's last May. Bad guys are really bad, good guys are also bad and the wierd tickles me silly while also being bad. A 'must have' movie.
  23. Re: Complicate the Person Above Most people, if asked about the Yeti or Abominable Snowman will say that they're a myth or legend. I know better. You see, I've seen death tribbles family portraits. And I know that not really a tribble, he's just the runt of the litter.
  24. Re: Complicate the Person Above Anybody ever wonder why there is a London Dungeon Museum? Go ask Marcus, you'll be surprised by the answer. Also, for a short time, in considerable pain.
  25. Re: Complicate the Person Above death tribble once spent an entire year as resident "Special Guest Star" on the 'Donny and Marie' Osmond syndicated TV show. Oh how he laughs about those wild and wacky days!
