  1. Re: Herophile Fantasy art Nevertheless, it is a beautiful pic, and certainly required some talent. I bet this is going to be a really great game to play in.
  2. Re: Herophile Fantasy art Thanks! I will look forward to it. Just threw together. That is a beautiful pic and definitely makes me want to know more about the scene.
  3. Re: Herophile Fantasy art Wow! That is really nice! What's your sites URL?
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Ah, I get it now. Yes. That does make practical sense.
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So then what's the problem?
  6. Re: "Neat" Pictures Wow! That is an awesome pic!
  7. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Sounds like you need to give your IT folks a good boot to the head.
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Of course, if it is a company computer your time synch will get removed most likely by the company's time synch server, and your computer may stop authenticating security certificates if the time is off by a significant amount, but the map will be nifty to see.
  9. Re: "Neat" Pictures There is a link on the page that takes you to a university site that explains more about them.
  10. Re: Game Maps and Counters Exchange Steel Rats reply: "No problem with it at all. Cool to see I'm getting some exposure."
  11. Re: Game Maps and Counters Exchange I'm talking with Steel Rat right now. I'll let him know. He put that stuff up to share so I'm sure he doesn't mind.
  12. Re: Game Maps and Counters Exchange Repped for the contributions. Thanks!
  13. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER It is with the saddest heart that I must pass on the following news: Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he was still a crusty old man and was considered a roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly dad, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
  14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Nope. Since it is essentially VB it is really easy to read, write and execute. Of course there's no compiler so you have to have KPL installed to run the programs, but the basis is to learn a programming language not create business aps.
  15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You might. It actually has some neat little games that come with it and several multimedia files as well. The docs aren't too bad, and if you already have some experience are a pretty quick read. If you are interested go to http://www.kidsprogramminglanguage.com
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So Microsoft has released a new programming interface/language called KPL (Kid's Programming Language). It is essentially VB.Net Lite. I asked my son (10) if he would be interested in learning how to program so that he can make his own games, and he said "yea that would be neat". So I downloaded and installed it along with the updated security patches that you need for installing .net, and it is actually kinda cool. It has support for Sprites, and multimedia files, and even animated GIFs as Sprites. So I played around with it a bit, and printed out the manuals (35 pages). Hopefully he will get his feet wet while he's 'off-track' from school, and who knows maybe he'll become a programmer some day and buy mom and dad a new house. LOL
  17. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER SS, did you get my PM?
  18. Re: Superhero Images Sweeeeeet!
  19. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Anyone who's interested can read my blog to find out why I'm currently typing one-handed... same username on livejournal.com.
  20. Re: Superhero Images You might try blurring the image a bit to remove some of the "graininess" since your colors are more solid. As for colors, I like what you have so far, I say just go for it.
  21. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I totally loved that movie!
  22. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I'll join in the hilarity should it ensue.
  23. Re: Hero A Day...Sorta... Naw. Just post all the hdc files and let the fans export it as they want.
