  1. And the blank ones are here: http://users.ev1.net/~kryptcom/templates.html
  2. Got a castle or tavern you need to print out? There is now a template for Bases added to the zip file!!
  3. Because of those encouraging words, and in an attempt to get you to spend your hard earned money... There is now a template for Bases added to the zip file!! Computers are next.
  4. No rest for the weary... There is now a template for Bases added to the zip file!!
  5. I just added a VEHICLE export template to the zip for those that might be interested in such an animal.
  6. This might be of interest to all you Shipbuilders. I just added a new Export Template for VEHICLES!! It should produce an output the same as the published material. Let me know if I need to fix, or add anything.
  7. I just added a new export template to the zip. It is a VEHICLE Export!!! Yea!! Let me know if I need to fix anything, or forgot to include anything.
  8. I saw that writeup on the web some where. Was that your website?
  9. Ãœbermann = Obermann Die Wand = The Wall
  10. How about Ziegelstein? it means brick *ah oh duck!*
  11. Ah ok. I'll change the font in the templates. It doesn't matter with the newer version of Word, but the older version must not be Unicode compliant. As for the picture, that will have to wait. I'm currently working on the vehicle, base, and computer templates. Once I'm done with those, I'll revisit the graphics. I'm positive that it is a Word 97 issue though becuase several others haven't had any problems with pictures not showing up.
  12. Hmm... That may be the culprit as it wasn't fully RTF compliant. Let me know what you discover. Thanks!
  13. Hmm... what version of Word are you using? The image seems to have difficulties on certain versions. I'll have to look into that. For now, you could always just insert the picture yourself. I would be curious to see the actual output that you are getting though. Yes, the trackers are supposed to be boxes. It may be a font issue for you. I used Unicode characters in the hope that everyone would see the same thing.
  14. For now the picture has to be a jpeg until I can figure out how it gets converted to a windows metafile. The last three runs of charges should be a line of 3's, 4's and 5's. Simulates auto-fire, and whatever you want to do.
  15. For those who would be interested, I just posted a zip file that contains all the templates that I have done. Just follow the link above to get to them. The Export Templates now include Equipment Lists, and Combat Sheets. I hope you all find them useful.
  16. To get this thread back on track. I have posted a zip file that contains all my templates, and best of all they are pretty much finished. For ease of getting it just follow this link.
  17. Just as a side note, and to make sure that you are understanding Multipowers correctly. You can have as many powers active in a Multipower as you have reserve points to handle the active cost of the powers. It isn't a one and nothing else framework. I could also make the slot multi slots so that I can adjust the active cost devoted to them, but it doesn't sound like this would fit what you all have suggested are his powers. That being said I did short change the Reserve Points in the Multipower so I admit I have to fix that. I was getting the feeling from folks comments that there might be a misconception of how MPs work so I thought I would clarify that. Also, above I mention that I'm not really concerned about point balancing and what not as this is for a game I'm going to run with my kids, and I don't want to get them all wrapped up in mechanics right now. Once they are comfortable with role-playing and the mechanics of using skills and combat then they can start focussing on point balancing and moving around powers in frameworks. In fact, having said that I think I'll just take all the powers out of the MPs altogether for them to use. I was hoping to do a legit write up Cyclops as well though. So I'll keep working on fixing the above writeup and then delete the MPs when my son is about to play him. Thanks for all the input! I'll post the revised Cyborg when I get a chance to put in all your suggestions.
  18. Oops. Good point. I'll fix that. Although this is for my kids so there isn't going to be a whole lot of gun play going on at that level. STR: He only has 50 STR. Look at his characteristics.
  19. It just so happens that I have been working on him recently. Here is what he looks like now. I found some good info on the web and included that as well. I'll take into consideration your points and use them in the next update. The Stones devoted their entire lives to science. Not just theirs, but their son's as well. They experimented on him with intelligence enhancements, boosting the boy's IQ to that of a genius, 170. Because of their deep devotion to their work, they forced Vicotor into the same field, keeping him from having any kind of normal childhood. Victor grew up alone and isolated from other children his age, being schooled by his parents. He was able to make one friend, a boy by the name of Ron Evers. Ron was constantly getting Vic in trouble, but since he was the only friend Vic had, Vic stood by him. When Vic reached the proper age, Elinor spoke to Silas on his behalf and persuaded him to allow Vic to enter a public High School. This seemed to be exactly what Vic needed, meeting his first girlfriend, Marcy Reynolds, and becoming quite the athlete. Vic had potential. He trained hard and was competitive enough to try for the Olympics. Silas was vehemently against this, hoping Vic would persue more mental challenges over the physical ones. This drove a wedge between the two men that they'd not been able to recover from until shortly before Silas' death. Vic's parents both worked at STAR Labs as research scientists. Victor had gone to visit them one day, while they were working on two seperate projects. One was a long-range study of an inter-dimensional rift, while the other was a project creating cybernetic body parts for injured military personnel. While observing the rift, a blob-like creature had escaped into this dimension. The creature had killed Elinore, and had severely injured Victor before Silas could reach the 'recall' button, sending the creature back to where it came. Distraught and desperate, Silas used the untested cybernetic organs to save Victor's life. The parts where made of reinforced molybdenum steel, and 'space age' polymers and plastics. The procedure worked, keeping Victor alive, but it left him horribly disfigured, the cybernetic parts easily visible along his entire body. Bitter and angry with his father over his new fate, he left him and school, moving to Hell's Kitchen, in New York. Vic had become quite the local hero in Hell's Kitchen, doing his best to keep the bad part of town cleaned up and safe. It is here that Vic had met Raven for the first time, when she had recruited him to join the Titans. Vic was proud to be a part of a force for good, using his ill-perceived talents to better mankind. He'd also became friends with the others in the group, most notably Changling (Beast Boy). He also met Sarah Simms, a teacher who working with disabled children. Being disabled, in a way, Vic was able to give the children a positive role-model and hero to look up to. Vic and Sarah never had a romantic relationship, instead remaining close friends throughout the years. In thanks to Victor's new friends and for the purpose they'd given Cyborg, Silas had the first Titan's Tower built. Shortly after, he had died from radiation exposure. Luckily Victor was able to reconcile with his father before it was too late. Powers/Tactics: Cyborg is incredible strong, easily able to heft several tons. Cyborg's speed, enhanced through solar powered generators, has been increased several fold, and he can leap great distances. Built into his body-armor are an infrared eye, computer generator, sound amplifier, and special programming adapters, which allow him to interface with other body extension and computers. Cyborg's arsenal includes a finger laser attachment, telescopic eyepiece, sonic disrupter, electronic shockers, grappling hooks and winches. Campaign Use: Character created with Hero Designer (version 2.25 - interim build)
  20. Does he have to "charge-up" regularly or does he ever run out of power? I think I caught the tail end of an episode where something like that had happened. I got the impression that he has 0 REC and unless he charges up he is useless. Is that true?
  21. Here is my initial write-up. How does it look? I'm probably missing a bunch of stuff, but I'm hoping you all will let me know. EDIT: See below for new update.
  22. Hey all, I'm thinking of starting up a Champions game for my kids, and I asked them who their favorite super heroes were. My son said Cyborg, and my daughter said Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat. So the question... Does anyone have a writeup of Cyborg and Shadowcat from the current animated series? I haven't been watching either series long enough, nor was I ever an avid reader of the Teen Titans to know what all Cyborgs powers are. Any help would be appreciated thanks! If you would like to send them to me off-list that would be fine as well. PS I don't care that much about point balance and character cost as much as all the powers and disads.
  23. Just wanted to let folks know that I have posted updated files that now includes equipment.
