However, the site has been slow since the hackers were attacking, so this speed doesn't seem any worse than usual. Still unbearable.
 
The new format, I am not fond of and the speed issue is making me less likely to try to figure it out.

Fiacho: Gentlemen, to Evil!
 

The players performed a raid on the HQ of the Sydney Harbour Patrol, Sydney's premier Super Team, in order to obtain computer codes needed for Fiacho's scheme. Ilya Mourometz (played by M) and Ephemra (NPC) created a distraction by raiding the Powerhouse Museum while Cold Mary (played by SatinKitty) broke into the Harbour Patrol HQ and hacked their computers
 
Illa Mourometz (M), is at the bottom of a long flight of steps, surrounded by more than a dozen full baby carriages that he has saved as Ephemra sent them down the stairs, one after the next - "Stop pushing babies!"

Harrier and Brigade of the Sydney Harbour Patrol arive on the scene
 
Brigade - Oy! He's stealing babies!
 
They attack the huge, costumed Illya, ignoring the plain clothed Ephemra.

Illya Mourometz (M) - And people say Illya is dumb.

Cold Mary (SatinKitty) is caught red handed by Walkabout as she finishes copying the last of the data she needs. Walkabout succeeds at performing a Cover maneuver.
 
Walkabout - Hold it right there, little girl. Stand up slowly and step away from the computer.
 
Cold Mary (SatinKitty) - Didn't you get the memo? About the Virus? (Makes Seduction and Persuasion rolls, criticals the Seduction roll)
 
Walkabout - What virus? (breaks Cover)
 
Cold Mary - (Attacks).

Illya Mourometz (M) - I break the chains! (rolls very well, breaks the chains in two phases).
 
GM - Good. You hear an alarm sound, but there's no one here at the moment. Now what do you do?
 
Illya - I sulk!
 
GM - Don't you want to escape?
 
Illya - No! [The heroes] locked me up, after I saved all those babies!? Fiacho partners me with that ***** Ephemra? I sit right down in my cell, cross my legs and sulk. Let them fight their own battles.
 
GM - OK.
 
Illya - Maybe I'll just get 500 hours of community service.

The jedi is actually an older commission, but held back from public view per request of the patron. He wanted to surprise his game group. He gave me permission to post it now that his group has seen the character.

Actually, it's probably accurate to say that at least earlier in life I was a homophobe. When you grew up on & around military installations in the 1960s and early '70s, you sort of picked up that attitude by osmosis (and there's a peculiar horrible pun in the use of :"straight": there).
 
Once I became mature enough to recognize the trait in myself and realize it wasn't a good thing, I went to work on controlling it, but there's no denying certain aspects of it are still there.

Moving tonight and tomorrow (what time I get to do so). Leaving for New Orleans Thursday to work at Best Friends Celebration Station. So I will probably not have much time for much else the month of February.

So I think I was realizing why I was so cranky this week. I'm going stir crazy.
I've been stuck in a studio apartment since early May. Several opportunities to travel via work came up, but three got cancelled and the other one, one of my co-workers went instead. Even though he's supposed to be training the new people who start tomorrow. Originally he was to be back last week, but got held there because he was needed. Not that they couldn't of had me go in the first place or swapped us at this point.
I mention this to my manager (in much nicer language) and I got the distinct impression this was the first time we had ever discussed me going down there. Apparently she gets a mind wipe every evening or perhaps more frequently.
