  2. :sneaky:The campaign I am thinking about running is one where Evil just won the big battle instead of losing. That is where it starts. All the big powerful heroes are dead, missing or being forced to work for Evil. You are a student/trainee and did not go to the battle because you weren't ready. Now you are the only ones left to stop the Evil. And you didn't even finish your training. And the scales have tilted towards darkness and despair. Evil is more powerful and has more resources than you. And you have to stop them. Has anyone ever done a campaign like this? And how did it go?
  3. Re: SFX for Darkness with IPE? I was thinking the other night that this would be a great way to do a hall of mirrors effect. You can see. the only thing you see though is yourself.. i.e. The power causes you to only see the light being reflected from you. You can still hear the other people you just can't see them. You just see endless reflections of yourself. Now this coupled with Images with IPE that affect hearing and your sense of direction would be all kinds of fun. It messes with where the sound is coming from and your sense of right and left , forwards and backwards. From the outside it shows as a huge reflective dome. You can't see in, however you enter the dome freely. It is finding your way out that is the problem.

    check this link it is AWESOMELY COOL!! Hero Hooks! The Neat thing is no game stats. It is a truly system true supers supplement. We need more of these. With Villainy Amok and this You can run a campaign and never become stale again!
  7. Re: SFX for Darkness with IPE? This comes down to how do you see? By reflected light. So the sfx is everything in the field stops reflecting light. You can see what you see is darkness because your eyes aren't receiving light. To some one outside the field sees a giant bubble of darkness because blackness is the absence of light. Kinda cool. Darkness without darkness.

  14. Re: Clinging, UAA You forgot you need to buy ranged on the clinging to be able to use it at range. TK is already a ranged attack. This will have the effect of increasing the cost of the clinging build

  20. Re: 4-power Actually must change to base form instead of the more powerful multiform to duplicate. The multiforms will not have duplication. And yes the duplication cost is based on 300 points. I just haven't decided what to do with the 3 points yet. And yes, if one duplicate changes they must all change. I am stuck creatively as to what the other forms are at this point.

  24. Re: WWYCD: Dead before your time... Your powers do come back eventually. You just used up all of your Endurance in reviving. It is all LTE. You have to spend a few day? weeks? months? getting your powers back. On the cybernetics point: they are very damaged and need serious repair.
  25. WWYCD: You wake in a ruin of a building. You are dressed in your super-suit. It has seen better days. It is ripped, cut, burned, punctured, dirty and smelly. You have no memory of how you got here. When you go to leave, you find out your powers barely work and they exhaust you. (if you have power armor of some kind, it is out of juice and the recharger is trashed beyond repair). And your communicator is miscellaneous parts. If male, you have a small beard. both sexes your hair is a tangled mess. As you walk down the street, you realize you are in a bad section of town. The people you encounter on the street avoid you or throw things at you while calling you names. The worst are the ones who get upset at you for making fun of the dead. Huh? What are they talking about? While passing a bench at the bus stop, you spot a newspaper. The date is 4 months after the last thing you remember. Which is relaxing with your teammates in your base. The lead story is about how (insert big evil being here) is threatening the world. The article gone on about how are they going to stop it this time. The Hero who stopped it last time died doing it. The picture? You, laying on the ground, dead. The damage to your outfit in the picture is identical to what you are wearing right down to the last burned hole. It was only your great sacrifice that allowed the great evil to be stopped. The article is very unclear as to exactly what you did to stop other than die. And you have no memory of that battle. You eventually make it back to your base only to find statues of your entire team, with In Memory of (insert your teammates names). They saved the world alot. You will be missed. inscribed on the base. The date of their death is 3 months ago. WWYCD?
