How would you build a body of Force Fields? i.e. someone who can alter their physical form so that they are made up entirely of forcefields. What powers would you give them? I ask this because this is the direction I would like to take the Character I am playing in a Champions game. He has force field powers already. He can shoot stars, ball, sword and can create a sword or a staff. For defenses he has a force wall or a force field. While using either of these defenses he can't use his force slide. Thanks in advance for all of your suggestions.

Re: Comics are getting too steamy... I would buy a comic about Plain Jane if it was the one from Underworld Enemies, page 79-81. She has a great gimmick. And you would NEVER see her knocking boots with someone. They would have to notice her first.

These are several of the responses I got on the palladium board: Ballistic would do anything in his power to not be taken in because that means his cover identity has been comprimised and he needs to find a new one soon before they find his true identity which is already wanted by the US Army In other words there will most likely be new people added to the burn ward of the hospital with sadly a few more innocents caught in the cross-fire...... or a dead mutant who was suspected of being a terrorist but turns out was already considered a terrorist for vigilantism and mass arson charges Shoot the cops and walk away Thunder would probably send multiple agents to the hospital, demolish their vehicles, and make the evening news with his brawl. Then again, he's always looking for a fight anyway and with Sonic Power, everyone would hear his protests of innocence, between the sounds of crunching bones. Miguel would inform them they have the wrong man but would cooperate while help was called in. If nothing else, Jinx, the Yin Tiger would get him out of jail. Marcus would tell them they have the wrong man and ask them to leave before things got ugly. If they didn't leave, there'd be a lot of battered FBI agents, barring Morgan talking Marc down at least. In other words, these character are now classified as Supervillains instead of heroes. And The BFG's have been released from the armory.

My wife found this book for me. It is apropos to find it at this time. I am playing a character who is having to be a superhero for probation. It is a form of community service. And yes, he does have to wear an ankle bracelet locater/monitoring device.

This WWYCD is for those characters with a secret ID that has not been reported/revealed to the government. One day, you are going about your business in your Secret ID when several Black sedans and SUVs pull up. They say they are the FBI. They are wearing bulletproof vests with the letters FBI printed across them. There is no time or place to go change into your super ID. They have a warrant for your arrest. And you are arrested. In the interrogation room, They show you the proof of your alleged Terrorist actions, including pictures. It does appear to be you in the pictures. They all took place when you were off doing Your superhero shtick. Sometimes you were off planet, in another dimension, held captive by the villain or just off in another part of the world fighting crime. When you see the proof you almost believe it. The want the names and locations of your accomplices. They want to know what you were planning to blow up. You have no idea what they are talking about. WWYCD? Would you blow your Secret ID, knowing it would prove you aren't the terrorist they are looking for? WWYCD?

Re: WWYCD: Where brave men (and women) are needed Starfire: His powers won't let him leave as this world needs a hero even more than his home world. Pyhrus: would portal to elemental plane of fire and figure out how to get home from there and back to this dimension. THis way he could bring the really big guns to take down these three mastervillains and their regimes. Adventus: would stay and help. He would make sure he wrote down everything that happened for the movie deal when it was all over.

Re: World without Menton The presence of mind control triggers really gives the PPA a great boost to be passed. Especially if you have several politicians be discovered to have them. This helps get the general public behind it. Let the Thought Police Grow!

Re: World without Menton And now on topic.... Over the next several months, people begin to realize exactly how extensive Menton's network of power was. The number of politicians he had under his control thru blackmail, bribes and out & out mind control is mind-boggling. This lead to the Psionic Protocols Act. The PPA requires all politicians running for and already in office to be scanned for possible mind control. Also, all Psionic individuals are banned from holding any public office or even working for the government, except for The Psionic Investigators(yes, The Thought Police). And registration of all Psionic individuals. This is expanded to include all superbeings. Will it pass? What will the Awakened do? What will the Champions do? Which side will they choose? These questions are up to you.

Re: World without Menton Actually they did. They combined Professor x and Magneto is a single being called Onslaught. This being took in Nate Grey and Franklin Richards(the toddler) and was able to use their powers. When Onslaught 'killed' the Avengers, Franklin transported them to an alternate universe instead. Onslaught even Knocked back Juggernaut from Ontario Canada to New Jersey! Onslaught even separated the Hulk from Bruce banner. Eventually Onslaught was destroyed.

Re: The klutzy government liaison Not everybody with a superpower is a superhero or supervillain. It doesn't even have to powerful enough to actually damage the power armor. And it only affects the power armor if he is trying to help the power armor wearing hero/villain. He might not even know he has the power and as a result he has no control over it. You could make it an ongoing storyline for most of the campaign that he slowly realizes he has a power. Or, better yet, continually denies he has a power even in the face of overwhelming evidence proving he has a power.

Re: high-level presence and on the issue of Gods and Pre: With an 80 PRE you would end up with a group of people who start worshiping you as a deity. Which could make for some very fun adventures as they cause problems for you. And expect you to solve their problems with a wave of your hand.
