A moron usually has some actual physical issue that impairs his cognitive function, be it genetic, injury or disease based. He cannot help his deficient intellect and should not be hated for what he does. A willfully ignorant person is so by choice and thus deserves hatred and contempt.

I'm not really convinced that NK is a menace. I mean I remember how we were told how dangerous the big bad soviet union was, until it collapsed like a house if cards.
 
I remember the lies about how horrible the Russian invasion of Afghanistan was and how they evil rooskies were dropping boobytrapped toys to maim afghan children and using poison gas on villages. Until we found out those stories were mostly lies.
 
I remember how we were fed horror stories by a weeping kuwaite girl about babies in kuwait being taken from incubators by the subhuman, monstrous Iraqi soldiers. They we found out she was lying.
 
I remember hearing how Saddam Hussein was behind 911 and was that close to having a nuke, plus his vast stockpiles of chemical WMDs. All lies.
 
Now we're hearing how awful NK is. I don't doubt that country is a miserable little state and the little Pillsbury doughboy running it is a few words I won't use here, but I've had too many boogeymen and horror stories conjured up for me to buy them automatically.
 
Frankly it seems like the american government has always needed a boogey man to keep people in line. Soon as one died another one came along so very conveniently. Yeah some boogeymen were real, imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, yes. A lot have been scarecrows.

Modern CFL bulbs come in shades of very fairly yellow that really do look like the old ones. Have you looked at modern cfl and led bulbs?
 
BTW recently at a yard sale I picked up an old style incandescent flashlight, extremely well made, red metal, rubber armor rims and grips, very good switch, snap on brand. It had been badly treated, batteries left in it to leak and some idiot has mangled the spring making contact with the bulb, which was missing. I bought it for a dollar, spent time getting the old leaking D cells out, putting vinegar in it to neutralize the acid,fixing the spring and getting it to work. There was a space bulb in the body in the battery spring and input it in with fresh new D cells.
 
I was amazed at how dim it was. This was a very Hugh end, high quality, high cost flashlight when it was made. The light was so dim and had that gold tint to it it was really of very limited use.
 
 
 
 
I dropped in a cheap, basic LED replacement bulb that was made just to upgradenold flashlights to led power. Good god the difference was astounding! Literally 10x brighter, much longer range and the battery life was tripled at the least!
 
There was just no comparison the led bulb outclassed the old light in every way, by a long way.

why would electric cars be a privacy issue? The real privacy issue is cameras everywhere and corporations demanding access to employees social media or else.
 
As to charging I think that could be handled by battery stations that would swap out batteries. Out comes the old battery which goes on an analyzer/charger and in goes an analyzed charged battery. You pay and go.
